Port Hadlock-Irondale is a census-designated place in northwestern Washington, situated on the Puget Sound. Port Hadlock, Irondale, and Chimacum together are referred to as the “tri-area”, home to a few thousand permanent residents. Irondale, at one time, was positioned to be one of the largest iron and steel producers in the United States, which helped to inspire the name. Port Hadlock was founded by Samuel Hadlock in 1870, establishing the first post office, schoolhouses, general stores, and other essential buildings to create the town. The main businesses in the area were timber harvesting, alcohol production, and later on, tourism.

Now, this lovely township is mostly a tourist spot, located just outside the nearby national park. Port Hadlock-Irondale is located across the Puget Sound from Seattle, and right beneath the San Juan Islands which can be reached by taking a ferry from nearby Port Townsend. A wealth of incredible natural beauty surrounds the town, so it's no wonder why people are eager to book an RV in Port Hadlock-Irondale.
