Heading north up the coast, the nearest towns are Gearhart, Surf Pines, and Warrenton, as you continue south the first town you’ll hit is Cannon Beach.

The town of Seaside is home to one of the world’s biggest volleyball tournaments, with over 2700 players on 154 courts. The tournament just keeps getting bigger and better, with more players every year. The Great Outdoors

Located on the coast, the nearby landscape is made up of some dramatic cliffs and rock formations. Cannon Beach is a particularly stunning area, with Haystack Rock as the central attraction. The rock is a 235-foot sea stack, adjacent to the beach and is accessible on foot at low tide. The many tide pools around the lake are often full of creatures including sea anemone, crabs, starfish and more. This site is open year-round and includes water, sewer, 30 amp electric, and WiFi. Although a little out of town, the resort is still situated within the Seaside city limits, making it easily accessible, and is just a mile and a half from the stunning Pacific Ocean, making the beach just around the corner.

Exploring the City

Seaside is also home to one of the best breweries on the Oregon coast, Seaside Brewing Co. Uniquely, the brewery has been created inside the old city jail, and they utilized rainwater to start the brewing company. They also offer an extensive food menu that serves fresh seafood and clam chowder should you need a quick bite to eat before continuing on your outdoor adventure.

For a family-friendly attraction, carve out some time to explore Seaside Aquarium, originally a public salt water bath, today it is home to the country’ first breeding program for captive harbor seals, as well over 100 other species of marine life.
