About Chris D

Born and raised in France, came to America in 2000. I absolutely love RVing and enjoy sharing this passion with renters as well! I will be there to answer any questions you may have. My degree is in education, I used to teach Phys Ed and French in Elementary and high school. In 2009 I started buying foreclosed properties that I rehabbed, and so I then decided to pivot my career to full time real estate broker so please don't hesitate to contact me if you are looking to buy or sell a property too! I take pride in making sure my RV renters are happy, and are enjoying their vacation as much as possible. We had a great family trip in Daisy! There was plenty of room for my wife, baby, and I to sleep, cook, and hang out. The appliances were easy to use and kept us comfortable boondocking and at state campgrounds with days in the 80s and nights in the 50s by using the AC or heater. Chris was very helpful and very quick to respond to text messages. He was also very accommodating to our arrival and departure times. It was a huge perk to be able to pick up the RV near Chicago and drop it off near Milwaukee to catch our flights. We really appreciated the fact that he took care of the waste at the end of the trip. There was plenty of water and propane for a week long trip. The truck itself is older but has very few miles, runs well, and drives comfortably. Also, the backup camera works great. We would gladly rent from Chris again.

Great time chasing clear skies for the eclipse. The RV was great to have and made the trip memorable! Chris wanted to make sure everything went smooth for us and checked in during our chase.

Air conditioning didn’t always work. The side door didn’t shut right and was very noisy. No tv or generator for the back so the backend was hot during the drive, refrigerator door kept falling off while driving

Surprising review because you seemed extremely happy and positive about your trip when you came back and even mentioned you'd definitely rent from me again in the future. I realize it is upsetting you had to pay a deductible due to the crash you had with a large tree branch, but that's how things go and at least you had insurance that covered the damage. to the roof. We had already talked about it prior to booking but there is no TV or generator included in Shrimpy :( Even if there was a generator, it's impossible (and illegal) to use a generator while driving. Thank you for letting me know about the fridge, the whole fridge has been replaced since. Regarding your door complaint I took a look at it and added a little trim that was gone, which prevented any noise. I realize this was your first camper trip and you went really far so you may not have been used to more noise than a regular car however believe it or not Shrimpy is actually very quiet compared to other campers! The A/C does work, so it might have been user error. Always feel free to call me during your future trips if you have any issues so I can walk you through things. Thanks again for the booking and congrats on the new work position on the West Coast you acquired during your trip ! :)

The RV was clean and in great shape, had no issues going up and down the mountains. Chris explained all the functions and how to use everything in the RV, and was very helpful the entire process. We had a great trip, would definitely rent from him again.

We had a great trip and enjoyed the experience. Chris was an excellent host/owner - Prompt and clear with all communications. Most importantly, the RV had been mechanically sound. It ran smooth through the entire 1,700mi, and delivered us home safely and without issue. The RV is showing it's age, but it is a fantastic value and the experience is sure to make many unforgettable memories. Thanks!
