Judith Mendez has a lot going on. She is a Wellness Educator & Therapist Massage Yoga Meditation provider, which alone would keep her plenty busy. On top of all that, she also works as an Event Producer, Film Producer, and an actress. As if those five jobs weren’t enough, the last three of them inspired her sixth gig: renting her two RVs on Outdoorsy.
“I picked up my first RV 2011 to rent out as a mobile office for films and events,” Judith told us. “I chose the ones I did because they have the capacity to sleep large groups for events.”
Amazing Adventures
It seems Mendez chose wisely, because her RVs were rented for several awesome adventures. “My RV was rented and featured as the star of the film titled Baja, which I produced,” the savvy businesswoman told us. “Also our trailer—out of thousands available for rent—was selected by SpaceX to host a group to test sky experiments in the Nevada desert.”
Judith also uses her trailer for charitable causes, including life coaching and rehabilitation services for a homeless prevention program. Her RVs are just as busy as she is, and because her fleet is comprised of “celebrity” rigs, this isn’t likely to change anytime soon.
Awesome Experience
Her RVs are so busy in fact that even with one trailer out doing regular volunteer charity work, Mendez still makes a decent income from this side hustle. She says her first rental booked immediately after listing. “With just two vehicles, the income varies from $1,000 to $10,000 a month depending on the season.” Enough to cover the cost of her fleet with a lot left over to spend however she sees fit.
