Big Foot Resort in Alexandria, MN, offers 23 full-hookup RV sites and 9 cabins, with 30 and 50-amp service and room for rigs up to 40 feet. Sites come as back-ins and pull-thrus, each carrying water, sewer, and electric. The 40-foot maximum makes this a mid-size-rig resort rather than a big-coach property. Laundry, a bathhouse with showers, a general store, and a storm shelter are on the grounds — the last one is worth knowing about in this part of Minnesota. Cabins give larger groups a way to book together. The lake drives everything: a boat ramp, boat docks, and boat rentals for fishing, boating, and water sports, plus a swimming beach, an outdoor pool, mini-golf, a basketball court, and a playground. Biking and a state park are close by. Alexandria sits in Douglas County in the heart of west-central Minnesota's lake district, where the prairie meets more than 300 lakes and the walleye fishing and lakeshore cabin tradition run deep. - Check-in is after 3:00 pm.
- Check-out is before 2:00 pm.
Cabin
- Check-in is after 3:00 pm
- Check-out is before 10:00 am.
- Early check-in and late check-out requests will be charged $20 per additional hour requested.
- We reserve the right to remove your property to facilitate our preparations for the next guest’s arrival.
- Anyone under 21 years of age must be at their site or cabin between 10:00 pm - 7:00 am or be accompanied by an adult.
- All of your visitors must register at the office (Minnesota state requirement)
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.Pets
- Pets are NOT allowed in the cabins.
- Pets accompanying an RV stay must be leashed at all times when not inside the camper.
- There is no additional charge to bring your pet during your RV stay.
- Pets must be leashed at all times.
- Pick up after your pet, and place it in the dumpster.
- Dogs may not be left unattended inside/outside the camper if they may bark or whine.
- Occasional barking or whining from a dog is not unusual, but if it is frequent or constant, we will ask that you quiet the pet, or remove it from the resort.Facility
