Sugar Hill RV Resort

Campground in Anna, TX • 78 RV Sites

Situated just off Interstate 75 in Anna, Texas, in the fast-growing northern Collin County corridor approximately 35 miles north of Dallas, Sugar Hill RV Resort delivers a luxury-positioned RV camping experience with resort-level amenities and paved, premium-landscaped sites that cater to discerning guests who expect upscale infrastructure alongside the convenience of full-service hookup camping in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan region. The resort's design philosophy—spacious paved sites with premium landscaped patios rather than gravel pads, resort-caliber facilities rather than basic campground amenities—reflects the luxury segment of the Texas RV market for guests traveling with high-end coaches and fifth wheels. Spacious paved sites are furnished with full hookups including 30/50-amp electrical service, and the landscaped patios with outdoor seating areas give each site a private outdoor living space appropriate to guests spending multiple nights at a resort-positioned property. A heated pool and spa, fitness center, dog park, covered gathering patio with fire pit, business center, mail service, and laundry facilities collectively represent a resort amenity roster that few RV parks in the Dallas-Fort Worth market match. Free Wi-Fi throughout the grounds and professional-grade bathhouse facilities round out the premium infrastructure that defines the resort's market positioning. The northern Collin County landscape surrounding Anna is defined by the rapid suburban development characteristic of the Dallas exurban growth corridor—a region of new subdivisions, commercial centers, and expanding infrastructure along the US 75 and US 380 highway axes that has transformed the farmland of Collin and Grayson Counties into one of the fastest-growing residential markets in the United States. The proximity to the resort communities and retail centers of McKinney, Frisco, and Allen places a full array of dining, entertainment, and shopping options within a manageable drive for guests looking to explore the northern Dallas metro area during their stay. Lavon Lake, managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers east of McKinney, provides boating, fishing, sailing, and shoreline hiking access on a significant reservoir within practical day-trip distance of the resort. Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary in McKinney offers 289 acres of native habitat, nature trails, and wildlife education programming that provides a natural counterpoint to the suburban development landscape. The Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, the McInnish Sports Complex in Carrollton, and the cultural venues of the Dallas Arts District in downtown Dallas extend the day-trip roster for guests with diverse interests. Sugar Hill RV Resort is open year-round, with the North Texas climate supporting RV camping across most of the calendar. Winter in northern Collin County is mild by regional standards, and the resort's heated facilities and all-season hookup infrastructure support comfortable stays through the cooler months. Summer brings warm and humid conditions typical of North Texas, with the pool and spa providing the primary relief from peak-season heat. The resort's proximity to the I-75 travel corridor makes it a logistical fit for guests on extended Texas road trips as well as a destination for Dallas-area visitors choosing the resort's luxury amenity package as a base for metro exploration.
