Beckon Ridge RV Park

Campground in Duncan, SC • 44 RV Sites

In Duncan, South Carolina—between Greenville and Spartanburg in the South Carolina Upstate at the junction of Interstate 85 and Interstate 26, in one of the most economically dynamic and culturally active corners of the American Southeast—Beckon Ridge RV Park offers 44 sites (32 back-in and 12 pull-through) on generous 22-by-60-foot gravel pads with 30 and 50-amp full hookup service and WiFi in a family-owned, pet-friendly property that provides the reliable, clean, and convenient I-85 corridor base that the Greenville-Spartanburg metropolitan area's visitor demand consistently exceeds the available supply to serve. For travelers with agenda items in both Greenville and Spartanburg—the Upstate's twin metros that together have built one of the South's most vibrant economic and cultural landscapes—Duncan's central position eliminates the choice between them. Sites on the 22-by-60-foot gravel pads accommodate large rigs comfortably in a property whose infrastructure focus reflects the priorities of the I-85 corridor traveler: reliable hookups, adequate site dimensions, WiFi, and a location that minimizes drive time to the destinations that bring most visitors to the Upstate. The pet-friendly policy serves the traveling families and couples whose dogs accompany them on the road, and the park's family ownership creates the hospitality character that distinguishes a genuinely welcoming campground from a parking facility with hookups. State parks and water parks within the region round out the day-trip options for guests with active recreation on their agenda. Duncan sits in Spartanburg County at the heart of the Upstate's manufacturing and automotive corridor—the BMW Manufacturing Plant in Spartanburg, BMW's largest production facility in the world and the only BMW factory in the United States, employs thousands of Upstate workers and draws automotive enthusiasts and BMW owners to the BMW Zentrum museum and factory tour experience that the plant maintains as a public attraction. The Upstate's transformation from a textile manufacturing economy to a global automotive and advanced manufacturing hub over the past three decades represents one of the most significant economic development stories in the American South. Greenville, 20 minutes west on I-85, has developed downtown Falls Park on the Reedy River and Main Street into one of the most acclaimed urban revitalization projects in the American Southeast—the Liberty Bridge pedestrian suspension bridge over Reedy River Falls, the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, and the restaurant and arts district centered on Main Street create a walkable downtown that consistently appears on national best-downtown lists. Spartanburg, 10 minutes east, adds the Chapman Cultural Center, the Spartanburg Art Museum, and the Cowpens National Battlefield—where a decisive Revolutionary War victory on the South Carolina piedmont helped turn the war's southern campaign toward American victory. Beckon Ridge operates year-round in the Upstate's temperate climate, where the Appalachian foothills moderate the summer heat relative to the South Carolina coastal plain and mild winters make the I-85 corridor comfortable for RV travel in every season. The BMW Zentrum's factory tour schedule, the Greenville arts and restaurant calendar, and the NHRA drag racing events at Inman's Upstate Motorplex create year-round visitation that keeps the Greenville-Spartanburg accommodation supply consistently challenged. Reserve your site at Beckon Ridge and let Duncan's Upstate position give you both Greenville's downtown and Spartanburg's BMW factory from a single, well-located stop on the I-85 corridor.
