Eugene Mobile Village-RV Park

Campground in Eugene, OR • 4 RV Sites

Eugene Mobile Village and RV Park in Eugene, Oregon, is a historic campground in the Glenwood neighborhood that has been welcoming travelers since 1945 — a long-established Lane County property in the southern Willamette Valley that gives guests the urban Eugene location, the University of Oregon's cultural and athletic programming, and the proximity to the McKenzie River fly fishing corridor, the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, and the Three Sisters Wilderness in the most outdoor-recreation-accessible university city in the Pacific Northwest. Eugene's Lane County position on I-5 at the southern Willamette Valley's junction with the Cascade Highway access gives the campground the specific urban-edge Oregon character of a campground in the historic Glenwood district between the Willamette River and the McKenzie River confluence that gives the Eugene area its two-river geography. Long-established full-hookup RV sites and monthly accommodations in Eugene's historic Glenwood neighborhood give the Mobile Village its specific character as a veteran Eugene campground whose 1945 founding gives it the institutional continuity and the neighborhood integration that eight decades of operation in a single location specifically creates — the campground's Glenwood position between the Willamette and the McKenzie Rivers and the practical Eugene urban access give the long-term resident and the traveling guest the same campground infrastructure that the post-WWII American RV traveler discovered at this location in the immediate postwar era. Pets are welcome. The McKenzie River, 15 miles east of Eugene on OR-126 in the Willamette National Forest, is one of the Oregon Cascades' most celebrated blue-ribbon fly fishing rivers — a river whose wild rainbow trout and the rare McKenzie River cutthroat trout fishery in the upper river give the Lane County stream its specific wild fish conservation character, and whose Class III and IV whitewater in the upper gorge and the drift-boat fishing float through the old-growth Douglas fir corridor give the McKenzie the complete Oregon river recreation profile. The McKenzie River National Recreation Trail's 26 miles through the old-growth along the river's upper corridor give hikers the most celebrated lowland forest trail in the Oregon Cascades. Crater Lake National Park, 85 miles southeast of Eugene on OR-58 and US-97 in Klamath County, preserves the most perfectly circular caldera lake in the world — the 1,943-foot-deep Crater Lake in the collapsed Mount Mazama caldera whose azure blue color, the Wizard Island cinder cone, and the Rim Drive's 33-mile viewshed around the caldera rim give the park the visual character that makes it one of the most immediately striking national parks in the American West on first view. Eugene Mobile Village and RV Park serves guests year-round in Lane County's marine Oregon climate, with the summer outdoor recreation season from June through September sustaining the Cascade mountain, coast range, and Willamette Valley recreation access and the University of Oregon's home football season at Autzen Stadium from September through November drawing the Pac-12 fan market to the Eugene area. The 5th Street Public Market, the Saturday Market's 300-vendor outdoor crafts and farmers market, and the Hult Center for the Performing Arts give the Eugene urban core the cultural and culinary depth that the Willamette Valley's wine country touring from the Eugene base supplements. Reserve sites ahead for Ducks home football weekends and the summer peak.
