Palmerosa Horse & Hike Campground is a peaceful, wooded campground in the heart of Ohio's Hocking Hills. Guests can choose spacious RV sites with water and electric hookups, private tent sites, and comfortable cabins while staying close to Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Conkle's Hollow, and more than 40 miles of bridle trails. The campground offers private bathrooms and hot showers, covered horse stalls, fire rings, picnic tables, a camp store, firewood, dump stations, and a quiet setting away from the busiest park areas.

Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- RV and tent site check-in is from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
- After-hours guests may use the contactless check-in option and do not need to stop at the office.
- RV and tent site check-out is at 12:00 PM.
- Early arrivals and late departures require prior management approval and are subject to availability.
- Unauthorized late departures may be charged an additional night.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.Occupancy
- RV sites accommodate a maximum of 6 guests.
- Tent sites accommodate a maximum of 4 guests.
- A maximum of two camping units is allowed per campsite, such as two tents or one RV and one tent.Parking Policy
- One vehicle is allowed at each campsite.
- Additional vehicles and trailers must be parked in the designated overflow area as directed by staff.
- Do not park or drive on the grass.Bathroom Rules
- Private bathrooms and hot showers are available 24 hours a day.
- Please close bathroom doors after use, keep the facilities clean, and limit shower times during busy weekends.RV Site Rules
- RV sites include 30-amp electric service, standard 110-volt outlets, and water hookups.
- Sealed and properly maintained utility connections are required.Tent Site Rules
- Tent campers who require electricity must reserve an RV site with electric service.Pet Policy
- Dogs must remain leashed and under their owner's control while in the campground.
- Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.Horse Policy
- Guests bringing horses must add the correct number of horses during booking so stalls can be assigned.
- Guests must bring their own muck tools, buckets, hoses, ropes, tie lines, clips, and bedding.
