Lake Wenatchee RV Resort

Campground in Leavenworth, WA • 25 RV Sites

Fifteen minutes east of Leavenworth and five minutes from Lake Wenatchee State Park in the Wenatchee River valley—at the point where the Cascade Range's eastern slope opens into the ponderosa pine and sagebrush landscape that defines eastern Washington's character and the Bavarian-themed mountain town of Leavenworth anchors the region's tourist identity—Lake Wenatchee RV Resort operates a full-service RV property with a restaurant, bar, and espresso shop, eight Tesla charging stations, and the outdoor stage and event infrastructure that the surrounding terrain's four-season recreation calendar generates consistent demand for. The restaurant and bar distinguish the resort from campgrounds that position guests as captive customers of a snack bar; the Tesla chargers position it for the EV-towing market that Cascades highway access increasingly attracts. The mountain setting does the heavy lifting; the infrastructure makes multi-day stays comfortable. RV sites with power and water hookup (no sewer connections at individual sites) serve the campground's full-service population, with WiFi, restrooms, flush toilets, showers, and laundry facilities providing the infrastructure that extended stays require. A general store stocked with everyday essentials handles the provisioning needs that the Leavenworth commercial district serves fully but at five-minutes-of-driving distance. The restaurant, bar, and espresso shop operate as the resort's primary social gathering space—the outdoor patio with stage and seating areas providing the ambiance that the Cascades mountain setting earns so readily in every season. Eight Tesla charging stations represent a meaningful amenity for the growing population of electric-vehicle-towing campers on the Northwest mountain corridor, eliminating the range anxiety that EV camping on eastern Cascades routes can create for travelers uncertain of charging options at their overnight stops. Lake Wenatchee, five minutes from the resort, provides the primary natural recreation anchor. The glacier-fed lake—clear, cold, and set in a valley flanked by Cascade peaks—offers swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing in one of the most visually spectacular natural lake settings in the eastern Cascades. The adjacent Lake Wenatchee State Park maintains a campground, beach, and trail network that supplement the resort's natural programming with state park infrastructure accessible by bike or on foot. Leavenworth's Bavarian village character—German-style architecture, a beer hall culture, the oom-pah music and lederhosen aesthetic that the community adopted in the 1960s to revive a struggling timber economy—has succeeded beyond any reasonable commercial expectation, transforming a small mountain town into one of Washington's most visited destinations. The Christmas lighting season from Thanksgiving through New Year's and the Oktoberfest celebration are the most famous of Leavenworth's event calendar, and both create demand for the region's campgrounds that requires reservation well in advance. The Enchantments, the most spectacular and sought-after hiking wilderness in the state of Washington, is accessible within the broader Leavenworth recreation area for guests with the lottery permits required to access it. Lake Wenatchee RV Resort serves the four-season Leavenworth visitor market: summer for lake recreation and hiking, fall for the dramatic Cascade foliage season, winter for cross-country skiing and ice skating access, and the shoulder seasons for the quieter mountain exploration that the Leavenworth area rewards with fewer crowds. Reserve early for Oktoberfest and Christmas season weekends and let the Wenatchee Valley earn its title as eastern Washington's mountain town.
