Camp Cedar RV Resort

Campground in Mason, OH • 164 RV Sites

Camp Cedar RV Resort in Mason, Ohio, delivers a family resort camping experience in Warren County at the heart of Southwest Ohio's most entertainment-rich corridor, where Kings Island amusement park—one of the largest theme parks in the Midwest with 100 rides, the Banshee inverted steel coaster, and Soak City waterpark—sits directly adjacent to the resort's immediate Mason area and provides the defining family entertainment anchor for a campground region that pairs resort-quality camping amenities with the concentrated amusement park and commercial recreation infrastructure that few metropolitan areas in the United States can match within a five-mile radius. The resort's pool, cabins, dining, and pickleball courts serve the on-property recreation while Kings Island, the Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park, and the Cincinnati area's cultural resources provide the off-property entertainment calendar. The resort's amenity package delivers comfortable family camping with organized activity: full hookup sites, cabins for non-RV guests, an outdoor pool, dining on site, a dog park, playground, walking trails, planned activities and entertainment, basketball, pickleball, corn hole, water sports access, general store, clubhouse, laundry, showers, bathrooms, dump station, and Wi-Fi collectively provide the resort infrastructure that families spending multiple days in the Mason entertainment corridor require between Kings Island visits, Great Wolf Lodge water park sessions, and Cincinnati day trips. The Warren County setting's suburban character ensures commercial service access and the safety profile that families with young children prioritize in a campground. Mason is the Warren County seat in one of Ohio's fastest-growing suburban corridors, where the Kings Island Road commercial corridor and the surrounding residential communities have developed around the amusement park that the Taft Broadcasting Company opened in 1972 as the successor to Cincinnati's Coney Island amusement park. The resort's proximity to the Kings Island entertainment campus—whose Haunt autumn event, WinterFest holiday lights season, and Planet Snoopy children's area extend the park's programming across the full calendar year—creates a year-round entertainment partnership between the campground's accommodations and the park's seasonal programming. Cincinnati, approximately 25 miles southwest of Mason via I-71, provides the metropolitan cultural and dining resources that families whose Mason visit extends beyond Kings Island most reliably seek—the Cincinnati Art Museum's free permanent collection, the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden's manatee and cheetah exhibits, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center on the Ohio River bank, and the Reds and Bengals at Great American Ball Park and Paycor Stadium offer the metropolitan programming that complements the entertainment park focus of the Mason corridor's primary commercial identity. Camp Cedar RV Resort operates year-round in Warren County's four-season Ohio climate, with the summer season from Memorial Day through Labor Day driving maximum Kings Island attendance and the campground's highest family occupancy simultaneously. The Kings Island Haunt event from late September through early November extends meaningful campground demand well into the fall season for guests whose Ohio entertainment itinerary includes the park's elaborate Halloween programming alongside the Warren County's fall color season in the surrounding suburban woodlands. The resort's year-round open status serves the extended-stay and full-time RV residents whose Mason area work and family relationships require year-round Warren County base camp access.
