Jellystone Park™ Cleveland

Campground in Nova, OH • 160 RV Sites

At 40 Township Road 1031 in Nova, Ohio—in Ashland County in the rolling Ohio glaciated plateau between Cleveland and Sandusky where the Lake Erie shoreline, Cedar Point's roller coaster skyline, and the agricultural patchwork of north-central Ohio's dairy and grain landscape create the specific northeast Ohio geography that positions Jellystone Park Cleveland/Sandusky as the mid-point between the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the most-award-winning amusement park in the world—Jellystone Park Cleveland/Sandusky provides a Wibit floating inflatable obstacle course on a three-acre catch-and-release fishing lake, a heated pool, paddle boats, a rock climbing wall, disc golf, gem mining, gaga ball, wagon rides, the full Yogi Bear character programming calendar, and the cabins, tent sites, and full hookup RV sites that serve the entire spectrum of camping accommodation at the campground the Sandusky-to-Cleveland corridor's family camping market calls its primary destination. The Wibit and the three-acre fishing lake occupy the same water body—the specific design that makes the water programming here physically distinctive from any other Jellystone installation in the Ohio market. Full hookup RV sites with 50-amp electric, water, and sewer in gravel pull-through and back-in configurations, buddy sites for adjacent-family group camping, and tent sites with water and electric hookups serve the full accommodation range on the non-lodging side. Cabins in multiple sizes serve guests seeking enclosed sleeping. The three-acre catch-and-release fishing lake serves dual purpose as the Wibit course's venue—life jacket required, rentals available at $5 per day or $10 for the stay—and as the fishing access for anglers who prefer the Wibit's inflatable obstacle course hours early in the morning or in the evening when the course closes. A heated swimming pool, paddle boat rentals, rock climbing wall, basketball court, disc golf course, gaga ball pit, playground, craft shack, gem mining, volleyball, and wagon rides constitute the dry-land and organized recreation calendar alongside the aquatic programming. Yogi Bear character appearances, campfire gatherings, and themed event weekends provide the programmed social entertainment that families with young children specifically plan Jellystone visits around. Cedar Point in Sandusky—awarded the Golden Ticket for Best Amusement Park in the World more than any other park in the award's history—is approximately 45 minutes north, providing the day-trip destination that makes a Jellystone base camp in Nova functionally a Cedar Point camping trip with more extensive on-site programming for the children's ages who aren't yet riding the Millennium Force. The park's combination of world-record roller coasters, the Breakers Hotel's vintage Lake Erie resort character, and Cedar Point Shores waterpark creates the Ohio summer tradition that families schedule the entire vacation year around. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum on Cleveland's Lake Erie waterfront—40 miles northeast—provides the cultural day trip that non-Cedar Point family members or the adults who've reached their roller-coaster threshold specifically seek. The museum's inductee archive, the performance film collection, and the building's I.M. Pei pyramid architecture on the Cleveland harbor waterfront constitute one of the most substantial popular music cultural institutions in the United States. Jellystone Park Cleveland/Sandusky is open seasonally through the Ohio camping calendar. Summer from Memorial Day through Labor Day represents the peak programming and Wibit season. Reserve early for Cedar Point-adjacent weekends in July and August when Nova accommodations fill well in advance. The catch-and-release fishing lake is accessible across the full operational season. Book the cabin or buddy site for the group, pack the life jacket, and let the Wibit course and Cedar Point's skyline earn the northeast Ohio camping reputation that the Cleveland-Sandusky corridor makes available within a single two-park day-trip radius.
