Two Lakes Camping Area in Oxford, ME, offers 45 RV sites, 3 cabins, and 2 tent sites, with 20, 30, and 50-amp service and back-in sites for rigs up to 40 feet. A beach, boat docks, a boat ramp, kayak rentals, sport courts, basketball, gaga ball, horseshoes, a playground, and walking trails fill the grounds, with swimming, boating, paddling, fishing, gem panning, live music, and planned activities. Campground rules and policies
Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Check-in times for sites are 2 pm to 7 pm
- Check-out time for sites is before 12 noon
- Check-in times for rentals are 3 pm to 7 pm
- Check-out time for rentals is before 11 am
- No early check-ins, no late check-outs
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Age
- Must be 21 years or older to rent a campsite and 25 years or older to rent any of our rental units
Parking
- No parking on the beach or the beach site unless assigned a beach site
Date Changes
- Any date changes made at any time are subject to a $25 service fee.
- Date change must be made 30 days prior to arrival ( $25 service fee applies).
- Only one camping unit per site.
Pet Policy
- Maximum of two animals per site (except pet-friendly rentals are one) all pets must be registered, well-behaved, leashed, and picked up after.
- All dogs must be on a leash. There is a dog swim area- dogs can not be on the people beach .
- Animals must have up-to-date rabies vaccination presented upon check-in.
- Registered animals are welcome ( maximum of two animals per site- fee for second one).
- Animals must be leashed at all times and owners are responsible for picking up after them.– no exceptions.
- Animals are not to be left unattended.
- Loud or nuisance animals or animals not picked up after will be asked to leave the campground.
- No visitor pets are allowed.
Restrictions
- A reminder that there is no swimming or bike riding beginning at dusk
- Fireworks and Firearms are strictly prohibited! Violators will be asked to leave.
Rental Unit Customers Please Note
- A credit card must be on file with each rental unit reservation.
- Rental units are expected to be in the same clean condition upon checkout as they were at check in.
- A cleaning fee will be assessed if the unit is not clean.
- A $500 fee minimum will be assessed if the unit shows signs that smoking has occurred.
- An applicable damage fee will be assessed if there are signs of damage beyond normal wear and tear.
- No tents ( or extra camping units) allowed on rental unit sites
- Monthly campers are responsible for their electric bill.
- This bill needs to be paid monthly and before you leave the campground.
- If this bill is not paid when you leave, your credit/debit card on file will be charged
- Unless otherwise stated, site fee is for one family unit, 2 adults, 3 children (under 18 years of age) and 1 dog. - Additional fees may apply for different size groups.
- Vehicles must have a car pass displayed in the front windshield at all times.
- Maximum of 4 adults or 6 people(2 adults/4 kids) per site.
- Maximum of two animals per site with valid rabies vaccine information (fee for second one).
- All reservations require payment in full
Visitors
- Registered guests are responsible to ensure all visitors register and pay a visitor fee upon arrival.
- Visitors must stop in to store during store hours and sign visitor pass and pay fee - we will need license plate#, guest name and telephone number.
- No visitor pets are allowed, and day visitors must leave before 9pm, overnight visitors must leave by noon.
- Visitors are required to have a car pass displayed in front windshield and park in designated areas.
Beach Rules
- There is no lifeguard at the beach – swim at your own risk.
- Never swim alone.
- Children under 14 are not allowed in the beach area unless accompanied by someone over the age of 18.
- No swimming or bike riding prior to dark. No bikes on the beach.
- No swimming from boat docks.
- No fishing in the swimming area.
- No vehicles on beach road unless you are assigned to a site in beach area - no thru traffic on beach road.
- No vehicles or golf carts are allowed to park on the beach, paths to the beach, or Beach Road.
- Please do not leave your kayak or canoe on beach - kayaks or canoes must be brought back to your site - carrying it down or with a kayak wheel cart are some options.
Quiet Hours
- From 11 PM TO 8 AM are quiet hours- please be respectful of your neighbors.
- Children 16 years and younger must be on their site by 10:00pm unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Vehicles entering or exiting during these hours are restricted to extenuating circumstances only.
- Fires are to be no larger than “3 stick fires”, will not be left unattended or found to be excessively high, and must be extinguished prior to leaving site.
- No out-of-state firewood is allowed in this state (or campground). Management reserves the right to extinguish fires that are excessively high or left unattended.
- When so directed by State Officials, fires may not be permitted.
Fire Pits
- No movement of fire pits and please do not put any type of trash/bottles in your campfire.
Washing
- Absolutely no use of RV washers or dryers.
Smoking
Absolutely no smoking in any of our rentals.
Activities
- Bike riding ends before dark and children should always wear helmets.
- No skateboarding allowed at any time.
Drones
- No drones at all.
Child
- Children under age 10 must be accompanied by someone over the age of 18 at all times.
Tree
- Do not drive nails, mutilate or cut down trees.
Clothes
- Please remove clothes lines from trees prior to departing.
Alcohol
- Alcoholic beverages must be kept in a protective sleeve or bag.
- Excessive drinking, illegal drugs or unruly behavior will result in ejection without refund.
Motorcycle
- Motorcycles are allowed to come in and out of campground so long as rider maintains a low noise level and stays within posted speed limits.
- They are not to be ridden around campground.
Photo Taking
- Please note we may take pictures throughout campground to be used as postings and/or for advertising.
ATV
- ATVs are not allowed to be ridden in the campground.
- Only Seasonal campers are allowed to have golf carts and they must carry liability insurance and sign a separate golf cart contract.
- Only people with valid driver’s licenses are allowed to drive a motorized vehicle in the campground.
Boat
- Boat docks must be booked with your site (not rented in office).
- When booking online, you can add a boat dock to your reservation.
- Please give us a call at 207-539-4851 with any questions.
- Boat docks are rented depending on availability.
- Boat docks must be added on and rented the same time frame as your site.
- All out-of-state boats must display a valid “milfoil” sticker.
- No jet skis or boats over 19′ (except pontoon boats) allowed.
- All boats and trailers are subject to aquatic plant inspection.
- Launch area must be kept open.
- Boat docks are rented for campers on a first-come, first-served basis.
Dump
- There are trash dumpsters and recycling containers located in the campground.
- We ask that all campers dispose of their trash in these containers and leave their site clean.
- Bags are available for purchase in the store.
- Only common household trash to be left in dumpster, no furniture, grills, etc.
Limits
- Maximum of 4 adults, or 6 people(2 adults/4 kids) and most sites can accommodate two vehicles.
- There is a maximum of two vehicles with most sites and a maximum of one vehicle on beach sites.
- For non beach sites, there is no parking in beach area.
- Please leave your vehicle at your site.
