Shady Oaks Camping Resort in Plattsburgh, NY, offers 12 full-hookup RV sites, 4 tent sites, and 1 glamping site, with 20 and 30-amp service and room for rigs up to 40 feet. Sites come in two categories, back-in 30-amp and pull-thru 30-amp, both carrying water, sewer, and electric with site-delivered WiFi, a fire pit, and a picnic table. Note the electrical: service is 20 and 30-amp, so a rig wired for heavier draw will need an adapter and some load management. Laundry, a bathhouse with showers, a general store, a community fire pit, and recycling cover the rest. Pets are welcome. Horseshoes, corn hole, and picnicking fill the shaded grounds, with the lake and beach a short walk. Plattsburgh sits on the western shore of Lake Champlain in the North Country between the Adirondack foothills and Vermont's Green Mountains. Check-in Procedure
- Check-in time: 12:00 pm.
- Check-out time: 11:00 am.
- All Campers and Guests acknowledge that camping and it’s associated activities are inherently dangerous and have chosen to assume the risk by partaking in the same.
- All guests, campers, and long-term campers are licensees of Adirondack Outdoor Hospitality Corporation d/b/a Shady Oaks RV Resort, whose license can be revoked at will.
- We reserve the right to eject any person at any time, without a refund, if they are not respecting the guest guidelines, quiet time, and being drunk/disorderly or are in possession of illegal substances.
- Campers whose license has been revoked will be treated as trespassers.
- Please call the office if you plan to arrive after 5 pm, as the office may be closed.
- All guests must arrive before 9 pm.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.Speed Limit
- The speed limit is 5 miles per hour.
- Please drive slowly and carefully throughout the campground to ensure the safety of all guests.Occupancy
- Maximum of 1 RV per RV site and six people per site.
- There will be a $10.00 per additional person fee upon approval.

- You may enjoy a campfire using the fire rings provided at each site.

- Well-behaved pets are welcome on RV and tent sites, but they must be leashed and you must pick up after them.
- If your pet is aggressive towards other campers, you will be asked to leave your campsite and the campground without a refund for early departure.Fireworks
