The three-tier structure is refreshingly plain: book full hookups, electric alone, or a primitive site, and pay accordingly — a useful range in a town where the season is short and demand is intense. Confirm length limits with the resort for your rig. Five cabins round out the lodging. A laundry, propane fills and exchange, restrooms, and showers handle the practical side, with a spa on the property. Fishing and canoeing and kayaking run from the water, and Kenai Fjords National Park is close. Pets are welcome. The setting is the reason to come. The resort sits where the Resurrection River meets Resurrection Bay, with the snow-capped Kenai Mountains rising on three sides and the blue-green bay extending south toward the glaciated fjords. Seward is the launching point for Kenai Fjords boat tours, Exit Glacier is a short drive, and the town's salmon and halibut fishing is legendary. The Alaska season is short and sharp. June through August is the window and it fills completely. Reserve as early as you can, particularly around the Mount Marathon race on July 4th.
