Permian Basin RV Resort

Campground in Stanton, TX • 118 RV Sites

On 75 acres between Big Spring and Midland in Stanton, Texas—in Martin County at the heart of the Permian Basin where the world's most productive oil field has built the economic infrastructure that drives one of the most consistent professional traveler and energy worker RV park markets in the United States—Permian Basin Golf and RV Resort provides over 100 spacious full hookup RV sites with 20, 30, and 50-amp service, high-speed fiber internet, satellite TV, and free on-site laundry all included in the rate, alongside a large in-ground swimming pool, walking and hiking trails, an entertainment clubhouse, a 9-hole golf course with driving range and practice greens, and BBQ pits in a resort that combines the all-inclusive amenity standard with the I-20 corridor position that makes it the Permian Basin's most complete single-stop for the business traveler, the oil field worker, and the cross-country RVer who wants golf and a pool with their full hookup at the midpoint of West Texas. The golf course alone earns the stop. Every site provides full hookup service—electric (20, 30, and 50-amp), city water, city sewer—with high-speed fiber internet, satellite TV, and free laundry included at no additional charge, creating the all-inclusive rate structure that the oil field worker on a company per diem or the long-term resident on a monthly rate both find genuinely transparent and valuable. The 9-hole golf course with driving range and practice putting greens provides the recreational amenity that distinguishes Permian Basin Golf and RV Resort from every other Permian Basin campground on the I-20 corridor, and the in-ground pool, walking and hiking trails, and the entertainment clubhouse round out the social and physical activity infrastructure for the leisure traveler and the off-duty worker alike. The 24/7 on-site management and professional support system provides the operational reliability that a resort serving the energy industry's demanding schedule requires. Stanton sits in Martin County at 2,860 feet on the Llano Estacado's western edge, at the geographic center of the Permian Basin—the 86,000-square-mile sedimentary basin in West Texas and southeastern New Mexico that contains the most prolific oil-producing formations in the United States. The Old Sorehead Trade Days, held monthly less than a mile from the resort, operates as one of the largest trade shows and flea markets in West Texas, drawing the regional buying and selling culture that the agricultural and oil-field communities of the Permian Basin have maintained for decades. Midland, 30 miles west on I-20, provides the regional urban infrastructure—the Petroleum Museum's comprehensive exhibit of Permian Basin oil history and the replica 1920s-era discovery well that tells the basin's production story, the Bush childhood home and museum in the Midland neighborhood where George H.W. Bush raised his family in the 1950s oil boom, and the regional airports and hospital system that serve the basin's workforce. Big Spring, 30 miles east, anchors the eastern I-20 corridor with Howard College and the historic Cosden refinery's industrial heritage. Permian Basin Golf and RV Resort operates year-round in West Texas's semi-arid climate, where the 300-plus annual days of sunshine and the mild winters from November through February make year-round outdoor recreation and golf genuinely accessible in a landscape that the summer heat from June through August makes more challenging. The energy industry's project cycle, the drilling rig rotations, and the pipeline construction seasons that bring workers to the Permian Basin year-round drive the consistent occupancy that makes the resort's all-inclusive model sustainable across the full calendar. Reserve your site at Permian Basin Golf and RV Resort and let the I-20 corridor's most amenitized West Texas stop prove that golf, fiber internet, and a Permian Basin address can coexist in the same gravel pad.
