Ninety-9 RV Park

Campground in Vancouver, WA • 88 RV Sites

Ninety-9 RV Park sits along the scenic north bank of the Columbia River in Vancouver, Washington—86 concrete-pad sites with full hookups positioned 15 minutes from downtown Portland, Oregon, and within easy access of Vancouver's growing waterfront district and the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. The park's location on the Washington side of the Columbia provides the practical advantage of proximity to Portland's full urban amenity set without the parking and traffic challenges of an in-city camping location, making it equally useful for Portland visitors who want camping convenience and Columbia River corridor travelers who need a well-positioned overnight on the I-5 route. All 86 sites feature concrete pads and full hookups with non-metered 30 and 50-amp electric service, water, and sewer. WiFi is available at the clubhouse, coin-operated laundry handles multi-day stay logistics, and free heated showers and heated restrooms maintain comfortable conditions year-round. A fenced dog park accommodates traveling pets, and the clubhouse provides indoor gathering and recreation space. The park's recreation room and easy freeway access make it functional for both brief overnight stops and extended urban base camp stays where Portland day trips provide the primary daily programming. Vancouver's waterfront on the Columbia River has undergone significant development over the past decade, transforming a previously industrial shoreline into a walkable promenade of restaurants, parks, and public spaces with views across the river toward Portland's skyline. The waterfront's connection to the Waterfront Renaissance Trail provides biking and walking access along the Columbia that extends the outdoor recreation within reach of the campground. Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, a reconstructed Hudson's Bay Company trading post and U.S. Army fort on the Vancouver Heights above the river, interprets over 200 years of Pacific Northwest history in a complex that includes the Chief Factor's House, the fur trade-era palisade reconstruction, and the Pearson Air Museum with one of the Pacific Northwest's best collections of vintage aircraft. Portland is 15 minutes south across the Interstate Bridge—a bridge that carries the I-5 traffic and the MAX Yellow Line light rail simultaneously, providing transit access to Portland's city center from the Vancouver waterfront for guests who prefer not to drive into the city. Portland's attractions encompass Powell's Books (the largest independent bookstore in the world by floorplan), the Pearl District's gallery and restaurant concentration, Mount Tabor Park's extinct volcanic cinder cone in the city's southeast, the Portland Art Museum, and the Saturday Market under the Burnside Bridge for the handmade craft and local food vendor scene. Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area is about 30 minutes east, providing the waterfall corridors and wind sports of the gorge's western end. Ninety-9 RV Park operates year-round as a Columbia River corridor stop and Portland metro base camp, with the marine-influenced Pacific Northwest climate delivering mild winters and the long summer days that make the park genuinely useful across all seasons. The park's concrete pads, heated facilities, and non-metered hookups make it a particularly good value proposition for extended-stay visitors who plan multiple Portland day trips from a consistent base and want to avoid the daily logistics of finding urban parking on the Oregon side.
