If a refund is due because of a cancellation of a booking by either the renter or owner, this will automatically happen once the rental is processed in line with the reservations cancellation policy the refund is immediately released back to the renter’s credit card on file. If the refund is due to negotiations between the renter and owner, or due to services not provided, an Owner can initiate a refund through their dashboard on the booking details page of the Outdoorsy dashboard or contact our support team: firstname.lastname@example.org or call toll-free (800) 3688399.
Note about COVID-19 and Cancellations
Because of the rapidly-evolving nature of COVID-19, we are currently unable to adapt our policies around the pandemic. Though we made exceptions in March, we must now return to our original cancellation policies put in place for the protection of our valued renters and dedicated owners.
