Nestled among the trees and beautiful scenery of Wapsipinicon State Park, the Wapsipinicon Campground welcomes visitors to the Midwest to relax among nature and escape for a little. In the eastern reaches of Iowa, along the banks of the Wapsipinicon River (known as the Wapsi), the campground at this idyllic state park is a great place to unwind. Whether you plan to just immerse yourself in Wapsipinicon or you want to use the park as your home base when you book an RV in Jones County, camping with an RV rental is a great way to experience the beauty of Iowa.
The Wapsipinicon Campground has both nonelectric and electric sites available for motorhome rental camping. In addition to that, you will have access to restroom and shower facilities around the campground. If you need some more modern comforts, however, the town of Anamosa is just north of the state park.
Whether you enjoy fishing in lakes and rivers or seeing the sights by way of a hiking trail, staying in eastern Iowa will give you the ability to explore the state with ease. You can also jump over the borders into Wisconsin and Illinois for even more Midwestern exploring. No matter how you choose to spend your time in Iowa, enjoying the RV sites at Wapsipinicon Campground will be that nature retreat you need.
