Brookville Lake Campground

In the southeastern part of Indiana, between Indianapolis and Cincinnati, is the scenic Brookville Lake, a haven for outdoor enthusiasts searching for a perfect getaway. When camping at the Brookville Lake Campgrounds, you will find hundreds of RV sites spread between Mounds and Quakertown State Recreation Areas, including full-hookup and electric-only sites, as well as sites where you can pitch a tent. Amenities of these two SRAs include restrooms, showers, a camp store, and a fish cleaning station. If you want to have some fun while RV camping, there are horseshoe courts and playgrounds, and outdoor activities in and around the lake abound, so you will stay busy all the time.

Campers who like to roam around discovering and exploring new places will be surprised by the natural beauty of the region. Within a couple of hours of driving, you can reach some amazing state parks and forests of Indiana, such as Whitewater Memorial State Park, Brown County State Park, and Hoosier National Forest. If you decide to cross the border into Ohio in your Brookville RV rental, you will be greeted by the beauties of Hueston Woods State Park and Caesar Creek State Park.

There is no lack of urban centers in the area – in fact, the campground is only an hour's drive away from Cincinnati, home to amazing attractions such as Newport Aquarium and Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden on the banks of the Ohio River. It takes about an hour and a half to drive to Indianapolis, the state capital, and visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway where exciting races bring an adrenaline rush to the viewers, or enjoy a day outside at White River State Park. Another state capital is only a couple of hours' drive away when you hit the road in your Brookville camper rental – Columbus, OH. Whether you choose to visit one of the parks on the Scioto Mile or spend the afternoon in one of the museums, you are in for a wonderful time.
