Barton Springs Campground

In the picturesque Cumberland Plateau of central Tennessee, Barton Springs Campground is a haven where RV camping enthusiasts can take some time to explore the wonders of the surrounding region. In addition to being located on the shores of the peaceful Normandy Lake, it offers a range of amenities for an enjoyable stay, including showers, restrooms, and a pavilion. The campground is pet-friendly and has a sandy beach area where you can relax after a swim in the lake. There is also a picnic area with grills and picnic tables, perfect for a day in the open with your friends and family.

Sites at Barton Springs Campground are mostly pull-through and come with 20/30/50 amp electric power and water hookups, as well as water faucets and a combination of picnic tables and either a fire pit or grill. Most sites have a lake view, so you can watch the sun set over the lake without leaving your campsite. Barton Springs Campground campsites can accommodate big rigs and tents, too.

If you can’t wait to go outside and explore, you are in for a world of wonderful natural places, from the nearby lakes and rivers to the incredible national forests and parks hidden in the Appalachian Mountains to the east, including the iconic Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If urban landscapes are more up your alley, travel a short distance to Nashville, a place to be for both music lovers and travelers looking for new discoveries. An example of the ideal blend of urban amenities and nature, Chattanooga is waiting to be explored in the southeastern corner of the state. Those who don’t mind spending a few hours on the road should continue going to the southeast until they reach the bustling streets of Atlanta, GA.
