Moss Landing KOA Express

If Northern California is where you're heading, and you plan to spend time in Monterey and Santa Cruz, consider booking your stay at Moss Landing KOA Express, conveniently located in a quaint harbor in between these two cities. This RV campground is perfectly arranged to get you established and into your vacation. There are laundry facilities and restrooms with showers to help you freshen up before you begin.

Each site has a concrete pad to make leveling your RV rental a simple process. There are grass areas between each site, all of which have full hookups and plenty of room for you to set up your slide-outs. The sites all have back-in access.

Once you're ready to start checking out the local area, you are just a short distance from Elkhorn Slough, where you can paddleboard or join a guided eco-tour. Riding in a quiet, electric-powered tour boat will allow you to get much closer to the resident sea otters and harbor seals. There are also hundreds of bird species to capture your attention.

If sun worshiping is on the agenda while camping at Moss Landing KOA Express, take your rental motorhome and head for Moss Landing State Beach where you can enjoy surfing, windsurfing, and offshore fishing; the surrounding area is a part of the Pacific Flyway, making it ideal for bird watching. There are rip tides and strong currents in the area, so swimming is not recommended, but picnicking among the dunes will protect you from the strong winds.

Want to head inside and be entertained for a while? A local organization has a museum with visual art, memorabilia, and a rare book and reference collection all dedicated to William Shakespeare. On-site staff can answer any questions you might have and provide you with interesting insights.
