Nestled in the southeast of Bardstown, My Old Kentucky Home Campground is situated on the grounds of My Old Kentucky Home State Park just south of Louisville. It centers around Federal Hill, a farm once owned by the United States Senator John Rowan and long associated with American composer Stephen Foster's anti-slavery ballad "My Old Kentucky Home, Good Night.”
RV camping at My Old Kentucky Home Campground includes access to their 39 sites, with utility hookups and a central service building that houses showers and restrooms. Pets are welcome to stay with you if they remain on a leash and there’s also a dump station on-site. Just across the road from the RV park is a grocery store where you can pick up food supplies, as well as a laundry facility if you need to catch up on your washing.
