The Kan aka: 2020 CO Teardrop Summit Pinnacle - Off Road, Overland
Grew up in Boulder, after brief 24 year stint in Silicon Valley I'm now back to the greatest outdoor activity state in the world. As required by CO law: I have a road bike, mountain bike and gravel bike, 3 fishing rods and associated gear, my own ski equipment, a hot tub, a Jeep, shop and eat local, enjoy craft beer, respect the environment, cut the cable chord, and attend local music events. So good to be home.
Eric was a very responsible owner and was available to answer our questions at a moments notice. He has outfitted the rig with several great add-on’s including the 270 degree awning and hot water heater. Our two girls loved the bunk beds and the whole trip was a breeze. We towed this rig to some remote locations with no issues.
Eric was great to work with and was flexible coordinating the pickup and drop off. Our 3.5 yr old daughter wanted to go camping and this little trailer was a the perfect blend of creature comforts and making camping simple & easy. My daughter spent lots of time in the trailer rolling around in blankets and playing with her stuffed animals. We wanted to try disbursed camping and this setup made that very possible. It's also a head turner. Hikers passing by our campsite commented on the cool factor more than a few times. We had rain on the first day and the awning provided great coverage. We were able to use the kitchen and be outside, if we wanted, without getting drenched. The lighting in the kitchen area is really bright, which is great, but we brought our own solar powered string lights and that made enough light for our needs. Our first camping trip with our little human was a big success. We would definitely rent again!

Eric was friendly, flexible, and quick to respond. The Kan was super easy to tow and use. We had a wonderful camping experience with our six year old daughter just over the border in Wyoming. The Kan had no problem being pulled by our Tacoma and through the small dirt roads to our spot up on a hill.
"Setup" if you can call it that, was a cinch. The awning is a nice bonus and pretty easy to put up with two people. We made use of the outdoor shower and used all the kitchen gadgets and supplies. The side screened windows and the roof fan created a nice breeze inside the camper. Our daughter loved the bunk bed and it was beautiful to view the stars at night and the clouds in the morning through the roof window.
Overall, we had a great experience and would be happy to rent this camper again. The Kan is very easy to use and so nice to not have all the work of setting up and taking down a tent. It was also good protection from the wind in Wyoming. Highly recommend!

You just cannot beat the Colorado Teardrop. All weather and all roads...The unit is in great condition, clean, solid, water tight (we had tons of rain) and performed just as it should. Towing is piece of cake even for smaller vehicles. Eric (the owner) is super friendly, easy communications, and he accommodated our flex schedule both before and after the trips. Thanks Eric!
Eric is a fantastic host who clearly lays out all the particulars on how to operate and drive the trailer. The trailer was amazing on and off the highway and will go anywhere so finding cool spots to set up camp is easy. I would highly recommend renting from Eric!!

We had an amazing time in Eric's Teardrop. Eric was a wonderful host. His teardrop was spotless and had everything we needed for our camping trip. He communicated clearly and was available to answer any questions. Thank Eric for all you did to make sure our trip to Moab was epic.

It’s rare that I do reviews and rate that I dole out a 5 Star rating but I have to give credit where it’s due.
The trailer: Tows great! Used my 16’ Tacoma with 2” lift. No issues with the hitch. My truck did struggle on the mountain passes (Eisenhower, Monarch) but it’s a Toyota gearing issue. Trailer was very clean! 👍 Ran out of water pretty quick just doing dishes for three nights, so bring an extra can if you got it. Our kiddo loved the bunk bed and we all slept a lot more comfortable than in our tent! Stayed warmed in temps close to freezing with sheets and heavy sleeping bag used as a comforter.
Eric: excellent to work with! Very thorough in explaining the trailer and it’s operations. Very professional.

Eric was so awesome!! And I had such a great trip I’m now buying my own teardrop. Eric’s teardrop was amazing, the shower was fantastic and hot and I loved looking up at the stars while in bed.
Eric was super responsive, and super accommodating. The camper towed beautifully especially with his lock and roll hitch. Had a great night and it was easy to sleep a family of 4 with 2 young kids. We had a GREAT night in the teardrop. Thanks again!
Eric was great! Very helpful. Helped us understand how everything worked (we are new to this). Took the time to explain everything. Very friendly. Would rent from him again.
We really enjoyed using the Kan. It was our first time using/pulling a camper, and Eric was very helpful and knowledgeable when showing us how to use it. Recommend!
Great weekend with Eric’s trailer. Towed like a dream with our 2016 Tacoma and would easily go anywhere the truck would. In great condition and well-stocked with enough dishes and silverware to serve our other tent-camping companions. Just add a bag of ice to the cooler and you are good to go! Would definitely rent again!
Couldn’t have been better all the way around! Highly recommend!
There are so many things to like about the Colorado Teardrop! We were easily able to go off-road to a dispersed campsite, our type of camping. We love the outdoor kitchen and Eric has it set up with everything you need for prepping a meal. We only brought our cast iron skillet and grates to be able to cook on a campfire, too. We brought an extra 5 gallons of water and only refilled the water tank on day 4 of our 5-day outing. The bed is super comfortable. We brought a comforter, 2 wool blankets (used by fireside) and a sleeping bag. One night the temp dipped to low 30’s and we used all the covers and were toasty warm. Best endorsement (and I hesitate to say this because I don’t want booking competition) of both Eric’s hospitality and the enjoyment we had using his camper is that we can’t wait to book multiple trips next summer with The Kan!

First experience W/ Outdoorsy and renting a camper. Eric is super! Very responsive, super courteous and friendly. Spent time explaining the ins and outs of the camper’s electrical and hot water systems. Meticulously clean and fully stocked. I’ve already recommended Eric and the Kan!!!

We had a great time with the Kan aka. It's a quality trailer, well maintained and can be taken almost anywhere - the design is really well thought out. Eric is a great host - very responsive and answered all my questions. We really needed a flexible drop off time and Eric totally accommodated us. I would definitely recommend this trailer!
