About Lindsay's RV rentals

We've been Pacific Northwesters since 2014. We have been exploring the area through hiking, mountaineering and camping this beautiful area ever since. We spent last Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Eve VAMPING in our van and would love to share the experience with you.

We had a great trip in the Vamper. Grateful that Lindsay made it available and takes such great care of it. The awning was clutch in the rain and sun, and the bed in the back is very comfortable. I recommend bringing a bigger pot and pan if you plan on cooking for more than one person, but she does supply a camping pot and pan, which was very much appreciated. Refrigerator works great as well. Highly recommend!

We camped at Deception Pass, WA. We had a wonderful time. The Vamper was exactly as described and just what we needed. Lindsay was personable and delightful. Her “walk through” on using the Vamper was helpful and efficient. No negatives.

Lindsay was very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating with our schedule! She always responded to our messages and questions very quickly. The van was amazing. Very clean and easy to use. The windows on the side flap out with a bug screen and there is a nice fan on the top that helps air circulate. It is pretty much glamping in a van. We went down the Oregon Coast and couldn't have asked for a better trip! Remember, there are no bathrooms or showers, so plan those into your trip too! We found the app iOverlander very helpful in finding overnight parking and showers.

Great van, bad timing. Due to weather we had to end our trip early but the van is super nice and the pickup and return with Lindsay was quick and easy. Would recommend. Thanks again!

The Vamper is the perfect package for any couple that wants a hassle free getaway to the great outdoors. We loved that we could drive it like a normal car, park it anywhere, and still have all of the necessities we needed to live comfortably off the grid.

We had so much fun in this little "vamper"! It turned out even better than we had expected. We at first chose it for 3 reasons only: 1) great price; 2) it had A/C; 3) it was a small van-sized vehicle rather than one of those monstrous things that I would have been afraid to drive! We didn't even realize how awesome and efficient it was until later. The little seating area/dinette table folds down to form a good-sized bed (which we left set up the whole time since there was a nice table at the campsite to use), but the best part is that you open the back doors, and there are all these drawers--the (removable!) stove drawer, the fridge drawer, and storage drawers--everything right there! In addition, there is a lot of storage space under the bed, easily accessible from BOTH side doors of the vamper. So handy and efficient! AND, there were camp dishes, utensils, and pots & pans provided, along with extra butane cans for the stove and other extras such as a can of bug-spray, etc. There is an auxiliary battery so that the fridge can run for days without firing up the engine, and the USB ports can keep your phones, etc., charged up the whole time. There is also that good-sized carrier on top, as well as a "batwing" awning that folds out and goes all around to cover one side AND the back! They also have a bike rack on the back that folds out and around out of the way.
So, the "vamper" was fantastic . . . but we were also more than happy with owners Lindsay and Haley. They were friendly, communicative, professional (gave us a thorough introduction to the van and followed all the Outdoorsy contract checklists), and happily answered all of our questions. We felt 100% comfortable with the whole idea once we'd met them (this was our first Outdoorsy experience, so we hadn't been sure what to expect!). To top it off, they presented us with a nice card, chocolates, and a little bottle of Prosecco with two glasses!! . . . but only because we had dropped a few obvious hints that it was going to be our 37th anniversary! I wouldn't always expect such special "extras" ;-)
All in all, it was a fabulous experience; I'm just sorry that we didn't get any decent pics of the vamper to share--next time for sure!!
Thanks again to Lindsay & Haley,
Karen & Alan

We took the van up to Forks & Hoh Rainforest for the weekend. It is probably the most accommodating rental at a fair price considering all the perks included! The mini fridge compartment was a cool perk, the lights and the fan helped a lot at night, the batwing kept us and the chairs dry when it did rain, and the bed was pretty comfortable.

We spent 8 days in the Vamper on a bike trip. The Vamper was stocked with everything you need to camp including a stove, cookware, and chairs. The Vamper was easy to drive and park. The two of us slept comfortably with a built in ceiling fan. The bed was plenty long for my 6’4 partner. Also the fridge was amazing to keep the food cold without having to worry about getting ice all the time. Lindsay was extremely easy to work with and I highly recommend this rental!
