Let me first begin by sharing how kind and generous Pamela and her husband, Alexander were. We certainly appreciated the extras they included in our rental, as a reward for being their first booking, what they included was VERY helpful for us, as first time RV campers! The camper was great, space wise, as we camped with our littles. The outside was in good shape and just the right size, not too big and perfect for our pick-up truck to pull.I wish I could end my review here, but we did have some major problems that reared its head on night one of our arrival. We lost power, all power, a bit after we hooked up to the electrical supply at the private RV spot we rented. This was not fun, because Georgia in July is HOT! Thankfully we were able to chat with Pamela and Alexander, and receive their insight, but this had to be resolved from the property where we parked for the weekend. And it was resolved fairly quickly, by accessing the breaker box. Night two, the same thing happened, around the same time...total lost of power! No battery back up, no nothing and we slept that night minus the A/C, lights, with concerns about a fridge full of food that may spoil. It was grueling and the humidity was just horrible, in such a little space. At first we thought it was the RV parking spot we rented, having electrical problems, but that host, has many reviews, all 4/5 stars, and none mentioned electrical issues, associated with the use of her power. Then we started to notice other nuances, like the battery NEVER backed up power for us, and when my husband was given the walk-thru and tutorial concerning the RV, it was plugged into a power source at their home the entire time. Also, when we would turn on the radio, the lights would momentarily dim and flicker. The A/C made the radio do a weird but temporary buzz. We went on to loose power again.Pamela and Alexander’s Jayco travel-trailer, is not brand new and my husband and I do not think they were malicious, we just think that this was a new and unexpected issue for them that presented itself during our time in their RV.Finally, we were told that we damaged the back balancing stabilizer, we are not sure when this could have happened since we never utilized it, in their graciousness Pamela and Alexander drove to our location and stabilized the RV, as my husband was having an issue, separating our truck from the hitch. Anyway, we regret any damage to their property, and we are thankful for the deposit so that they are able to get the repair done. Once they get the electrical issues repaired on the travel-trailer, it will be an EXCELLENT experience for whomever rents it, as Pamela and Alexander are wonderful hosts.
