While our trip was not what we expected, our host David was great to work with. Great communication from the get go. We got a flat tire our first night out after 5 hours of driving and David was available by phone to help us try to resolve. We needed the roadside assistance, but just to note, 24 hour road assistance does not mean calling at 5:00 on Sunday in a rural area to get a flat tire fixed. We spent the night in a gas station parking lot and one of the companies we called upon got to us early the next day. The Outdoorsy operators were very nice, it just took a very long time for call backs and then no assistance that night.
We made it to one leg of our trip but got sick kids so made our way home. The RV was great, all that was described. As newbies we did not take into consideration how fast a larger RV may go, so all of our estimated times to get to reservations was usually one and a half to two hours different. Just a heads up while planning. It wasn't a total bust, there were some fun moments but just being able to be flexible while traveling in RV's is a good thing!
