This was my families very first trip renting an RV, and we decided to choose this vehicle because the pricing was fair, it was a much newer vehicle (reliability) and Greg (the owner) already had some pretty stellar reviews - so we decided to give it a try! To say the least, our experience was FAR BEYOND what we expected. The vehicle was fantastic, easy to drive, has a very strong motor that got us through rain, snow, and some incredibly strong winds! No joke! This RV is a beast to say the least. And to top it off, Greg was extremely knowledgeable, and patiently explained how everything worked before we took off. He was always a hats drop away with answering my calls when I needed some help and guidance along our trip. If you’re on the fence about renting this vehicle, just do it. You’ll thank me later! 😎💪🏼

Spent 2 days/nights in this rig. First time "RV'ing" with my family. This was definitely a comfortable rig. We spent our time at Carlsbad State Beach in the no hook up zone, essentially dry camping. We had no issues with the generator as mentioned in a previous review. Generator started up and charged the batteries whenever needed. Hot water and shower was available for us to use. No issues with the toilet and no foul smells. We were able to dump the Gray and Black water tanks with no issues. Awning works and does have exterior lightning. While dry camping, don't forget to check on battery levels and need for charging the battery via generator or vehicle engine. Also just be mindful of your usage all systems on will drain any battery. Example, you don't really need all the interior lights on. During our stay the weather was pretty bad. 20 knot winds and rain by the beach we felt comfortable, warm, and safe inside. Driving this RV was a surprise. So much easier than I expected, you don't feel like it's struggling, you almost forget you're driving an RV. Back up camera was very helpful as well. I would recommend to anybody looking to rent an RV. Greg was available to answer any question we had. I would rent again.

We just got back from a five-day trip with Greg's RV, and our overall experience was outstanding! The RV is in great shape, practically brand new.... and Greg was very responsive when we had any questions. I had NONE of the problems the previous renter stated that he experienced. We were in high elevation (Arrowhead), 90 degree plus heat in Potrero, we had rain in Julian, and everything worked fine. All locks work, USB port worked, sewer system in perfect running order, had no water from AC leak into RV. The generator did have some struggle when we had the AC and toaster on, while making lunch in the 90 degree heat. But we simply turned off the AC till we were ready to eat. We appreciated Greg's accommodating us when we arrived two hours late to pick it up, and his overall concern for us the whole trip was to make sure we were comfortable. We are already planning our next trip with his rig. This was my wife and kids' first time in an RV, and we created a great family memory. One last note if you are over 6 feet tall - you might need to sleep in the overcab bed if you want room to stretch out.

Numerous mechanical issues:
generator needs service (intermittently did NOT operate)
refrigerator / freezer worked intermittently
waste tank flush valve stripped and unable to dump waste water resulting in no toilet for the majority of rental AND horrific odors in RV:
Owner refused to have Roadside Assistance make necessary repairs to repair waste water tank flush valve.
Locks on exterior storage compartments do NOT work.
USB port does NOT work in dashboard
Water leaks into bathroom when air conditioner is operated

Generator does not need servicing. You were able to put 50+ hours on it in a weeks time. -no fault codes present.

Greg was very friendly and thorough with the workings of his RV. The vehicle was clean, new, and had plenty of power to make it over the grapevine. Greg was on call to answer questions during our trip and flexible with pick up and drop-off times. He was very pleasant when we dropped off as well. I highly recommend Greg and his Jayco Redhawk.

We had an outstanding trip. The motor home is brand new and in excellent condition. Greg was so helpful. It was our first rental. He explained everything and was available throughout the trip to answer questions. Everything worked flawlessly. Highly recommend this rental.

This Jayco is a perfect getaway! Greg is easy to communicate with and is always there when you need to ask a question. The motorhome is a breeze to drive and very, very comfortable. Very much a home away from home. I highly recommend Greg and his Jayco!! Thanks Greg for an amazing vaca!!

Amazing experience. The outdoor grill and Awning with LEDs was what we enjoyed the most. Smooth and comfortable ride. Plenty of room. The outdoor shower helped after our beach excursions. Large indoor fridge stored our 4 day supply of food. Big plus for the outdoor fridge (beer). Greg answered out texts in a timely manner when we had a question. He was instrumental in making sure we had a memorable experience. We will rent again. Thank you Greg.

Greg was great with communications and even helped to resolve a booking issued and ensured that we received the quoted discounts/pricing, etc. Greg went over the operations of the vehicle from top to bottom and took the time to ensure I understood everything. The RV was clean and everything operated flawlessly. We had a great time and a great experience!
