The team at Vartan Rocks bent over backwards to rent me this van on last-minute notice, and it was great! It was very easy to drive and use for camping, nice and clean, with a spacious interior. Perfect for 1 or 2 people looking for a getaway. My only suggestions would be to somehow include a thermostat for the heater, since it would get quite hot at night if not shut off manually, and also upgrade the bedding to higher quality sheets, pillows, comforter etc (the existing are pretty cheap quality so I used my own). Other than that, the van was great!

My boyfriend and I explored Olympic National Park for 6 days in the van. We had a great time, and the van offered plenty of great amenities to help us along the way! It is clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. There’s plenty of storage for food/baggage and they even had some fold up chairs and a table in the back compartment which we weren’t expecting! Some things we would recommend for winter trips would be to pack layers and dress warm so you do not overuse the battery for the heater and we did most of our cooking using fuel/propane canister set up that we purchased near the airport after our airport pickup - it was beyond helpful and we had quick warm meals in no time! All the guys at Vartan Rocks were great, very easy to communicate with and made our lives a million times easier by offering the airport drop off and van pick up at the end of our trip. Would highly recommend, we hope to do a trip like this again in our future!

All the amenities we needed for our four day off the grid adventure! Plenty of solar for all our energy needs. Great kitchen for making warm meals. Lots of storage. And the van ran great on our long drive.

The van was in great condition and has all the amenities you could need. Always available whenever we needed anything. Washington is a great place to test out van life!

Fun experience all around. The van itself was clean, full of features, and an absolute pleasure to cruise around in. The team was excited to share what they have built with us, and that showed in the pick up / off / trip itself. Basically everything is taken care of. We had resigned to having forgotten cooking oil, but what do you know, chili infused oil was available for our use.

My husband and I had a blast over Labor Day Weekend. We went to Leavenworth. Set up camp on a random forest service road near Sugarloaf Peak. The views were spectacular.
The trailer handled great on the dirt roads. No problem towing it behind our Cayenne. Everything is super east to setup. It’s easy with two people, definitely manageable by yourself though.
We cooked at least twice a day. Two burner stove worked really well.
Our blowup mattress took a lot of space (hight wise) in the tent. A mattress pad would have been better for us.
We would definitely rent again. The guys were really helpful during pickup. They took their time to explain how everything works.

This was our first time renting a trailer with pop-up tent so we really appreciated the guidance and detailed instruction offered by Sven and team. This rig has everything you need to be comfortable including a 2 burner stove, all the bowls, utensils, plates and accessories to cook, large propane tank, cooler plus lots and lots of storage for your gear. The trailer was easily towed behind our 4Runner over the mountains and back, off road and into the wilderness. Opening and setting up the tent was super easy; and just as easy to put away. We slept on the pad included with the tent on night one, but used our air mattress for the remaining nights for some extra comfort. The solar panel on the front of the trailer ensured we were charged up throughout the entire five days. This is a really great option for getting out in the middle of nowhere and staying comfortably self sufficient. We will definitely rent again!
