We would like to thank Paul & Michelle for letting us rent their RV for our trip to New Hampshire & Maine. I would first like to comment on how clean the RV was. Due to Covid-19 that was a big concern of ours. As soon as we walked in we knew we made the right decision. We would normally bring our own linens but felt very comfortable using the on board linens, saving us from having to pack our own. The RV drove great, it is a gas engine so with the weight it will slow a bit going up steep inclines compared to a diesel but we were also in the mountains and it really wasn’t a issue for us. The plus side to being a gas engine is you can fill it up anywhere. It was roughly around $100 to fill up and got us roughly around 400-450 miles per fill up, give or take depending on the price per gallon. The bunk beds and the master bed are extremely comfortable. My kids were fighting over the bunks due to how comfortable they were. We traveled with a family of 7 and we never felt too crammed. Communication I believe is a big part of the renting process. Paul and Michelle were always available anytime I needed them. Paul was open and honest if there was an issue or something wasn’t working properly. One issue I do want to mention to give an honest review was the toilet. It wasn’t holding water which when driving it did give a little bit of an odor. It did not make or break our trip. Paul was open and honest about it from the beginning and once we got to the campground it was a non issue as things were no longer moving around and we used the campground facilities anyway. I can assure Paul will have the issue fixed as he seems that he genuinely wants his renters to have the best experience possible. Any other small hiccups I believe were ‘operator error’ on my part as this was my first time RVing and its a lot of info to retain. But another great reason about renting from Paul is he provides links to his own YouTube videos which you can always revert back to if you are having trouble remembering something, and as I said earlier Paul was always available by phone. A/C was ice cold and for the cold mornings the heat worked great. Besides some clothes and food there isn’t a whole lot you will need to pack. They have thought of everything. There were plenty of chairs, a table, grill with charcoal, propane grill, outdoor games, pots, pans, dishes, toilet paper, linens, towels, all the hoses and adapters you will need for any kind of hookup. There were even raincoats which we did have to use as it down-poured 1 day of our trip. There were 3 TVs and DVD players. Just a side note the TVs won’t work while driving. It is a safety feature in the RV to not distract the driver. I was hoping it could be on to keep the kids busy while traveling, but no big deal, they worked perfectly when getting to campground. We created lots of memories on this trip and I would like the thank Paul and Michelle again for trusting us with their RV and would 100% rent from them again and recommend their RV to friends and family.
