About Robert & Shelly Maples

We have been camping for many years, some of my favorite memories as a teenager were camping at River Bend campground in pigeon forge. Every labor day my uncle would pull his up to Cades cove and we would all go up and have breakfast, like 20 or 30 of us, and then we would go for a drive or do a bike ride around loop and spend time being connected as a family. When my daughters were young, we would go Tent camping around my youngest daughters birthday. Her birthday is at the end of June, so it was always hot. One year, my wife and I in our tent with our little dog, and my daughters in their tent next to ours, we hear a noise outside. craziest thing- 3 Skunks (1 was albino-Crazy right), and 2 raccoons just rummaging around our campsite. We still laugh about that today. all the animals were between us and could see each other but couldnt get to each other, and thought for sure we were going to get sprayed. Golfing, tubing, and pretty much anything in the water and sunshine makes me happy. Enjoying the gifts that God has given us!
