We were first-time RVers, and here are our pros and cons:Pros: Owner Heather was, at all times, very pleasant to work with and addressed all of our questions and concerns (and we had many, due to being first timers!) in a timely manner no matter when we contacted her. This clean, self-contained 24’ vehicle was perfect for two adults and ideal for social distancing as we slept on the same bed every night using our own sheets, pillows, blankets, etc. We had prepared several meals for the trip and used the microwave to reheat. The diesel engine capably handled all roads between St. Petersburg and Montana and back.* We rented a car in Montana as we didn’t wish to unhook/rehook every time we wished to visit friends or sightsee. The vehicle handled very well and was easy to drive.** The only time we stayed in an RV park was in Montana for several days. On the way up and back, each night we nestled in between 18-wheelers at Pilot, Flying J or Love’s travel centers and ran the generator. (Note: we learned that the big-rig drivers don’t really appreciate RVers taking up spots as they consider it “their” territory, but it really isn’t. If you can find other RVs to park next to for the night at these travel centers, it might be wiser. But we never had any trouble and always felt safe.) The two slide outs (bedroom and dinette area) created plenty of space and roominess, and the MBR door and accordion slide will provide privacy, if needed.*** The vehicle’s three cameras (rear, left and right side) provided an additional level of driving safety. The “extra” touches Heather and Rolf have added to this RV were much appreciated and demonstrated the high caliber of people they are.Cons: *Diesel fuel was at least 20-30 cents more expensive than regular, unleaded gas; so this was a costly trip. **Road noise level inside the vehicle was loud and annoying (however, several highways in various states were abominable). ***While traveling and overnighting at travel centers, wrangling the two heavy mattresses (one’s a single-fold and the other a tri-fold) on the master bed was an annoyance (to us). On the way to Montana, another vehicle kicked up a rock and cracked the RV’s windshield on the driver’s side. We contacted Outdoorsy Roadside Assistance (ORA) which was supposed to provide free assistance, and they advised that it could take up to 30 days to assign a representative (due to COVID-19 and the lack of a full complement of staff). We learned that we did not purchase the amount of insurance offered by Generali to cover the cost of a replacement windshield (it would have been the most expensive, at $45/day). We made an appointment with Safelite to come to our home when we returned to replace it. On the way home, the microwave plus three electrical outlets failed. We used an extension cord to plug in the microwave to an outlet that worked (that got us through the rest of the trip). A circuit breaker had been tripped. We again contacted ORA who provided us the name and phone number of a mobile RV service provider who told the ORA rep that he’d meet us whenever we called him in a pre-designated city. Calling the phone number only generated an immediate text asking us to “Please text him” which we did, several times. After waiting an hour for the rep to return our text, we continued traveling. An hour after we departed, a rep texted us to report that the number ORA had given us was an “infrequently monitored mailbox” and to call him if we still needed him. Two hours after we departed, someone else texted us to ask if we still needed assistance. We made it home, and Safelite replaced the windshield and we ended up paying out of pocket; and we are unsure if our Florida vehicle insurance will reimburse us. In addition, the windshield had been tinted; so we were charged with the tinting cost ($$$).Summary: If you’re looking for an RV to take on a relatively short trip, and/or looking to drive to a destination and camp the entire time, this vehicle is for you! If you’re a first timer, take the time to thoroughly read the contract, ask as many questions as many times as you need to before the trip, do a thorough walk-thru and walk-around of the vehicle, and test everything before you agree to take the vehicle. And understand that you must return the vehicle in the condition (immaculate) it was brought to you, which includes cleaning the inside (we did) and washing the outside (we didn’t know this, so we didn’t have it done). If you’re a seasoned RVer, you already know the above. Happy traveling!

We had a great time on our RV trip. Heather was always quick to help with any questions. We felt very safe with this mode of travelling.

We just returned from a 10 day trip to the Smokey Mountains. The RV was in excellent condition and everything worked fine. The whole rental experience was very good. Heather was very helpful and as part of the deal she delivered the vehicle to our residence and picked it up at the end. The unit has plenty of storage in the back, which allowed us to take folding chairs and odds and ends.
This type of vehicle is pretty easy to drive, but if you haven’t driven one be aware it is a truck, not a car. So slower, bigger, and less visibility. It definitely requires a lot more attention, especially in traffic and winding roads.
Yet it is small enough to go most anywhere a car can go, which is better than some of the large RVs that are more limited.
Also an RV like this has a lot of equipment and systems, and takes some getting used to. Heather’s orientation and instruction book was very helpful.
This unit is good for a couple with 2-3 kids or two couples.

Worst RV experience EVER. Vehicle broke down 6 times in the first 7 days. Vehicle had bald tires upon delivery. Tires blowing/engine shut downs at top of mountains-greatest fears were realized. Owners neglected to compensate us for our down time-and then personally attacked us-instead of taking responsibility. Outdoorsy helped us out by refunding what they could. Communication was great until we requested a refund-then crickets.

We were sorry to hear that this renter did not enjoy his 1st RV experience. Renters before and after this June/July 2019 rental all reported they had no mechanical issues with our RV and we regret that this renter did not have the same experience. We had agreed to discuss his request for compensation once our damage claims were resolved which unfortunately, was a lengthy process due to the amount of non-mechanical damage. Although we disagree with the reviewers characterization & details of the events, we regret that this renter did not have the same experience as our other renters both before and after.

Heather was Great.
From the moment I booked the RV to the moment I brought it back she was in constant contact and always available making sure that everything is going well.
She was quick to respond and very informative.
The RV is clean and very well cared for. It's easy to drive and I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking to go on a trip.
