I really enjoy the freedom of Van Live In and want to share it with others. Van builds / conversions are a hobby, as are vegetable gardening, surfing, SUP, sailing, hiking, biking. I'm a designer by trade and enjoy sharing and receiving feedback from those out enjoying Handy Vans.

David is a gem! Every thing was exactly as described. Hand off and return was super easy as well. This was my first time ever renting a camper van and I’m glad I did it with him. :D

David’s van bed was very comfortable! I took his van up to the redwoods national forest in March and it poured down rain! I was warm and comfortable! His van is designed nicely for storage! It was reliable and easy to drive!

David was super communicative. The van was a dream to drive as it's nice and small. However, the trade off is sleeping space. The bed is tight for 2 people; my husband and I felt cramped and I slept at his feet to give us a little more space. This was our first van life experience and overall it was great. But we learned that if we want to do this longer term, we'll need more space :)

To start off I would love to say thank you David for all the extra blankets and accessories you added in to make my trip more than wonderful. This experience was amazing very accurate to everything I read in the reviews hence why I went with this vehicle over other vehicles, his time to respond was extremely quick and we spoke on the phone for a short moment he seem like an extremely nice down to earth person. The vehicle was great on gas it got me all over the state of California from Santa Cruz all the way to Yosemite all around the national Park and back to the bay area to San Francisco there was not one time or thing I can think of that was negative that I could better it was a super awesome trip an the van helped me get everywhere to be able to have this grand adventure so thank you David!!!

We had David's Van for two nights for a road trip on CA-1.

David was an absolute pleasure to work with and went above and beyond for us! Handy was exactly as described and very clean. My boyfriend and I are much taller than the average couple and we felt we still had enough space at night. There are so many options for storage so we were able to keep our stuff organized. We would definitely go out of our way to rent from David again!

Handy is a great little adventure vehicle! It has everything you need to camp off grid with ease. The well thought out design allows for plenty of gear and food storage, as well as, prep space off the back on fold & slide out tables. Bright solar powered LED lights make after dark chores easy. Handy feels larger from the inside than it looks from the outside. The bed is smaller than a double, but my husband & I were comfortable sharing it (neither of us are tall) & it's far more comfortable than a 2 man tent. David was a great host and communication was always prompt. I recommend this well designed, very clean, well equipped for adventure vehicle to anyone wanting to get out there and explore w/o worrying about nightly campground set ups.
