The Transit was an impressive, smooth ride with all the critical features for a great road trip. The sofa/table area that turned into a queen bed easily fit two adults and a small child. The hosts were always available by text or phone to help with any issues. Great customer service, and we will definitely rent again.

Hello! This booking was reserved just 1 day before departure so I cancelled that same day it was reserved. Thanks for considering a trip with us. I don’t know how this booking was originally allowed as we already had a renter on their way and the van was booked through Sunday evening. I’m again so sorry for the confusion and that we weren’t able to accommodate your family.

We had an amazing trip in the Lost Winds van up to Big Sur! Beth and Pete were easy to communicate with and helpful if any issues arose. When we encountered some bad weather on our way back, they generously allowed us to extend our van rental for an extra day to ensure our safety. Our toddler had a blast playing with his toy trucks in the spacious back of the van. Beth and Pete provided everything one might need for camping, making the process of packing for the trip simple and easy. This experience was truly wonderful and we look forward to another adventure with Lost Winds.

Bethany and Peter were great. Peter was handling all question for the RV operations and Bethany was very responsive leading up to the rental. They have a very functional bike rack for our "Analog" bikes. We drove up to Mammoth Lakes, CA for 8 nights. We met our friends up there and cycled around Mammoth Lakes.
The Lost Winds RV worked great and like the simplicity.

Fantastic experience renting from Beth and Pete! They have easy to follow instructional videos showing how to operate everything in their van. Great communication all around, would highly recommend renting from them!

We had a fabulous trip to Buellton, CA. The lost winds van is set up so nicely and had everything we needed to enjoy our trip. I love how open the van is and the drivability of this van is fantastic. Beth is super easy to work with and very responsive if you need anything. The videos they provide are so helpful and were super easy to follow. We will definitely rent this van in the future. Absolute perfect vehicle for our week long family vacation to Yosemite and down the coast of California. Van was very user friendly, comfortable, clean, and easy to drive. The Butlers were wonderful hosts with fast and accurate communications. Will rent from them again for sure!

“We used the van to go to sequoias national park. We had a wonderful time. It is equipped with all needed for camping, kitchen, fridge, nice bed, table, chairs, etc. And in great condition. Beth and Pete were kind and always available. We recommend it! And they speak Spanish :)”

The van was amazing. It had everything we needed and everything was really good quality and nice. Bethany and her family were so nice, communicative and helpful. They gave us advice for the van and for our trip. The bed was super comfortable and fit both adults, a toddler and a baby. We are super grateful and totally recommend them!

Fantastic host and they went out of their way to accommodate us. Every detail was thought of in this van and we had an absolute blast. Super comfortable, fun to drive, and so much fun to hang out in when we parked. We took it to the beach and the mountains and enjoyed it at both.
