About On The Move Rentals
My wife and I are avid travelers and regularly took 2-3 international trips a year. With the birth of our daughter in 2019, we began keeping trips closer to home. We were renting RVs for about 2 years and finally decided it was our time to purchase. We recently took our 18 month old daughter on a 2 week, 4000 mile road trip! We saw so much and had one of the best experiences of our lives! Now it's time for us to help build those memories for you and your family.

We had a great experience renting this RV! It fit all five of us and met our expectations. It got us where we needed to go and safely brought us back home. It did exactly what we needed it to do. 10/10 would definitely rent from them again! Communication was great! No major issues, and Clayton was more than pleasant to work with.

Our 8-day RV rental unfortunately fell far short of what we expected, and based on our experience, I would not recommend this RV to other renters.
The most serious issue was the air conditioning. The RV had an AC problem. The A/C would completely turn off for extended periods of our trip that the host was apparently already aware of, but this issue was not disclosed to us or in the listing or at the time of pickup. We were sent out in the RV during summer temperatures with no A/C. When we contacted the host about the AC, he made it clear that he was aware of the issue but did not provide a meaningful solution or alternative. This was extremely concerning given the dangerous temperatures.
On day three, the awning also lost all power and would not retract. We had to purchase tools ourselves in order to manually retract the awning. The awning remained unusable for the remaining five days of our rental. We were not compensated for the loss of use, the time spent dealing with the issue, or the cost of the tools we had to purchase.
We also paid extra for the grill option. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the grill was extremely dirty and in our opinion was unusable. We ultimately had to purchase a separate grill for our trip.
Overall, the RV appears to have several maintenance issues that need to be addressed. In my opinion, proper and routine maintenance could have prevented many of the problems we experienced during our rental.
The biggest concern was not simply that mechanical & maintenance issues occurred—things can happen with any RV—but that a known AC issue was not disclosed before the rental.

From photos online, we thought it would be really nice but didn’t match pictures. On the 3rd day, back mudguards came off we had to pull over spent 1 hour removing. The propane hadn’t been filled for the trip so had to spend time filling. We noticed truck was unsteady especially going down mountains and we ended up getting speed wobbles. We had to take it to a shop where both front tires needed replaced. The grill we paid extra for had a stand that supported it, however it was broken . The screws were stripped and too short. We spent time having to try to rig it. Unfortunately, we realized this when the top came off while we were grilling. The RV was older and needed upkeeping and we spent time on our trip fixing things and was unsafe.

Everything went well. I had questions during the trip, Clayton was quick to respond. The camper served its purpose for us, was clean, and had a lot of storage. The fridge was cold, and the bed was comfortable. The blinds also kept it darker in the morning. Drop off and pickup was easy and overall it was a good experience.

The RV was perfect for bouncing between two campsites with full hookups — we cooked, showered, watched movies, played games, laughed, and made enough memories to last until the kids’ next meltdown. The thing’s got plenty of power and is shockingly easy to drive… which is saying a lot, because I’m a first‑timer and still managed not to take out a single tree.

What a hassle. Do not trust what the owner or his wife tells you in person because they go back on their word.
So many technical issues with the RV. The generator would just shut off for no reason (plenty of gas) and would not leave internal batteries charged. solar would not hold a charge so we couldn't plug in phones or cpap at night. Also, the AC doesn't really work. it was pretty much always hotter inside than it was outside.
Plus the leveling blocks they included were super cheap and not nearly tough enough to use. and the black tank never properly emptied. but we brought our receipt to show we paid to have it emptied

On the move was a great host. The RV was everything and more as far as comfort and convenience are concerned. We can’t wait to rent it again!

We were first time RV users and had an awesome trip. The RV was great and Clayton is an excellent host, who provided everything we needed. Linens, kitchen utensils, and even camping chairs were provided at no extra charge. There is also a Youtube video showing how to operate different functions of the RV that was very helpful. Clayton was available when we had questions on our trip and was prompt in his responses. I would definitely recommend On The Move Rentals.
