We LOVED traveling in the Red Ryder! Carrie and Barry are the best - super responsive, full of creative ideas about how best to organize ourselves on our first campervan trip, and so generous with their time in helping us get oriented and settled on our first trip. We had the best time traveling as a family of three. The Red Ryder has so much space and comes very well equipped with everything you need. Thanks for an awesome trip!!
Red Ryder is well-equipped and organized, and the owners, Caroline and Barry, were fabulous to work with. We’ve been thinking about buying a camper van so we rented RR for a week to camp up and back to our niece’s college graduation in New York State. We appreciated that the van was stocked with everything from sheets and pillows to any cooking gear you might need. Best of all, Caroline was incredibly responsive and understanding when we unfortunately hit a deer on an interstate and had to negotiate repair in an unknown area.
While our trip involved a little more adventure than planned, Caroline and Barry’s trust and kindness meant we still enjoyed our time away!
Great experience- beautiful van, very nice owner. Really everything you need for a great camping trip.

We had a fantastic experience renting the van for a trip to Chicago and back, visiting some national parks and NPS sites along the way, and staying at state park campgrounds. The van was very comfortable for two kids and two adults, and felt unexpectedly spacious with the top popped - the kids could go up top while we were cooking dinner, for example, and no-one was in anyone else’s way. The van and pop top were plenty warm overnight even in 10 degree F conditions (we used warm sleeping bags, rated -10 down below and -25 up top, but they were actually a bit too warm, and we had no need for hats or long underwear). Battery capacity was such that we never plugged into shore power. The van was also very easy to drive - just keep in mind that you may average slower highway speeds than in a car, especially if there is any significant wind. It also did fine on the somewhat icy roads in the state park campgrounds - just had to take it slow. Caroline and Barry were exceptionally kind, gracious, and knowledgable hosts, and were incredibly responsive, both to our many questions before the trip, and to a couple of questions from the road. Highly recommended.
Carrie and Barry are extremely nice and the van is great, well equipped, and drives really well. We had no issues and just enjoyed the visit to Delaware's Cape Henlopen State Park. No complaints whatsoever, all good.
We had a wonderful time in the Red Ryder. Caroline and her husband were fantastic hosts and provided an immaculate RV and perfect condition for our family. We had a great time and can't recommend enough.
The camper van was perfect and Barry and Carrie were great hosts. My wife, our 2 sons (14 and 12 years old), and I (plus our small dog) camped 3 nights at Cape Henlopen SP in Delaware. Our boys (5'8" and 5'3") slept comfortably in the pop-up tent and we slept great below (I am 6'). I meant to take photos but apparently was too successful at disconnecting from my phone and forgot to do so. Thanks so much for everything Barry and Carrie!
What a great vehicle! We were first timers and enjoyed all the amenities offered by this terrific camper van. We used heat, AC, the bathroom, pop top, etc. and all were easy to use and operated perfectly. It’s an eye catching vehicle and we received many compliments along our journey. We highly recommend this vehicle for your adventure and can’t thank Barry and Caroline enough for all their technical support and flexibility on our pick up and return. Thank you for a wonderful camper van trip!

everything was easy...Great communication...very helpful with late requests...Highly recommend.
We enjoyed renting Barry and Caroline's Winnebago Solis which they dubbed the "Red Ryder." It was our first trip in an RV but we decided it would be a great way to travel from Maryland to Maine. It's a small RV but has practically everything inside which is great. We didn't have cookware prepared but they were provided by the hosts and fit perfectly in the RV. Parking and getting to local destinations is not a problem, we boon-docked the entire trip. Really nice to sleep in the parking lot of a museum then wake up and enter as soon as they open. Great to change our plans without worrying about cancelling hotel reservations nor making new ones. We had two adults and two high schoolers yet we all fit and enjoyed ourselves. The pop top is very clever so the kids loved it. Barry and Caroline are very nice and knowledgable. We would not hesitate to rent again! Great way to travel.
Lovely people to rent from. They made everything easy for me. You can tell Caroline truly cares.
We took the Red Ryder to North Carolina (Lake Norman, Asheville and BlueRidge mountains) for a 7 day road trip. Very impressed with the capability of the Winnebago Solis. We only took advantage of half of what it could do!
Red Ryder is an excellent vehicle with all amenities as advertised. The owners are great, honest brokers, and very friendly. The owners were flexible with pick up and drop off, provided great instruction on operation of the vehicle and answered all the questions we had.
We highly recommend this owner and vehicle and will look to rent again for our next excursion

We had a wonderful time! And were hugely thankful to be in warmth and cozy comfort (others in tents nearby gave up during the rainy windy night). It was great to play games around the table into the night and lovely to have food and snacks at our fingertips between zoom meetings!
