Nick’s Honda CRV drives great and everything works. It was easy to drive around Kauai and take camping. It won’t go off-roading on sand and I wouldn’t take it to Poli Hale, but for staying on the north/south/east sides it’s perfect. It is a no-frills vehicle and doesn’t come with camping gear. It has an input for an aux cable to play music (bring your own cable) and the A/C works. We were very grateful for the airport delivery service since it’s difficult to get cabs in Kauai right now.

This was a great experience. Great island car. It was a reliable mode of transport around the island for myself, my wife and our infant son. The AC works great. In great shape for an almost 20 year old car. Also has more room than I expected for a car of this size. Nick was great, and quite flexible. We were able to extend a day and drop off at the airport which was a huge help, especially now with cabs being so hard to get. Would definitely rent this car again.

We rented this car in Kauai, when rental cars from Avis, etc. were not available. It was exactly as described. The owner went way beyond expectations by delivering and picking up the car because of the transportation crisis in Kauai. He was very easy to communicate with. The outdoorsy contract process made us feel confident that we had a legal deal, and we could use a credit card, and had insurance. Would highly recommend this renter.
