We had a great time — the pick up and drop off processes were super easy. The vehicle was perfectly setup with everything we needed. Kathy truly went above and beyond to make sure all the details were handled before hand. We’ll definitely rent from her again should we come back to Alaska!

This is the way to see Alaska! Great car, great gear, easy pick up and drop off. The best, most affordable, most flexible option for seeing all the amazing sights in this beautiful, wild state.

We had a wonderful time. The Honda was clean and had all the gear needed to have a great camping experience. It even had two cans of Bear spray which for those who fly is a huge plus since the TSA won’t allow you to bring it in checked luggage. Everything on the Honda worked and the bed was very comfy. Would definitely rent again if I return to Alaska.

We had a fantastic trip. This little car was easy to drive and maneuver, but plenty roomy for me and my daughter to camp comfortably in. It took us all over the place, with no worries about safety or reliability. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

Kathy was such a delight to rent from! She was very accommodating with the return time and was happy to customize our experience with whatever supplies we needed for our adventure. We were a little disappointed to find that there were a number of damages to the car that aren’t described in the listing (back door electric lock is broken [although it still locks manually], sunroof doesn’t close [that we could figure out..], water damage on the ceiling of the car, check engine light coming on/off) and there was quite a bit of dog hair on the ceiling/walls as well. We aren’t picky people or allergic to dogs, so these things aren’t huge issues, but paying a $100 cleaning fee for a car that wasn’t the cleanest to begin with wasn’t ideal. Again, Kathy was so kind and made the rental pickup and drop off seamless, so I’d rent from her to camp again assuming the ceiling was cleaned up.

Kathy was absolutely amazing who thought of everything that we would need for a lovely car camping setup for our trip. We car camped and Kathy was extremely thoughtful of providing us with everything we would have needed w/o us even asking. We were able to fit 6 folks along with the mattress, camping gear, tents etc with Kathy's creative packing setup as well.
If you looking for a cozy lovely car camper that will let you camp and wake up to Seward/Homer views like below or anywhere in Alaska, I would highly recommend Kathy's camper SUV. She is super responsive and The Pilot drives like a charm and perfect for all the adventures you may encounter. Kathy's support throughout the process, attention to detail helped us make beautiful memories we will remember and also revisit soon to rent again from her :)

My partner and I car camped in Seward for 4 days, and this car was perfect for it! It was raining for most of it, so we slept in the car and there was plenty of room for the both of us (and the mattress in it is very comfortable). Everything was included that we needed for camping, so it made our trip easy and relaxing!
