About Steve's RV rentals
Hello and welcome! I've been driving around and living out of my van for the past year all over the state of Washington and the PNW. My time living in the van is done and it is now ready to show you the beautiful area of the PNW. If you need any ideas or want some extra camp gear on your trip please feel free to ask. I've been working at REI and in the outdoor industry for 5 years so my gear is endless and happy to rent out anything you'll need to make your trip perfect. While you aren't renting the van, my chocolate lab Zion and I are still seeing the area behind the wheel of the van. Looking forward to meeting you!

We took the van to Olympic National Park-- started at Kalaloch and worked our way around the north end. It had everything we needed to really enjoy the trip! Everything worked seamlessly-- really an easy-to-use setup. Steve made sure we were confident with the function of the van before we left. He was an excellent host! We had one of the best trips of our lives in this van! We will rent this again the next time we are in Washington!

Highly, highly recommend this van and renting from Steve.
This rig is really well thought out, it has all the creature comforts you need and none of the complicated things that break! A huge 35gal water holding tank, filtered drinking water on tap, plenty of solar power to charge a phone and laptop and even boil a kettle! The bed is super comfy and the roof vent, thermal curtains and blackout shades meant I was comfy across temps ranging from 35F to 86F. The rig also has an outdoor shower that I sadly didn’t have a chance to use. Steve made sure the van had everything I needed - plates, cups, all the cooking things, trash can, cleaning things, even a fly swatter and a dustpan and brush to keep dirt out. It really is a turnkey rig, ready to go.
Drives great, small turning radius and fits easily in a normal parking spot. Steve has installed cameras which make backing up easy as pie.
One star deducted because I had tire issues on the road - but Steve was awesome behind the scenes, finding the nearest reputable tire shop in the middle of nowhere, OR and calling them so that getting new tires was smooth and as quick as it could be. It wasn’t the van’s or Steve’s fault and honestly, that’s vanlife! I was back on the road and enjoyed the rest of my trip without a worry. Lots of folks were envious of the rooftop deck too - super fun to watch sunsets from up there.
Overall 11/10, will rent again :)

"My wife and I had a fantastic 10-day trip touring Olympic National Park with Steve's van. Steve and the van's builder clearly put a lot of time and effort into making the van a really great camping vehicle. The van was easy to drive and got surprisingly good gas mileage, and it's size (~18 feet), meant that we could use any campsite we liked without worrying about vehicle length. The "living space" inside the van was the perfect size for two people -- I wouldn't have wanted it to be any bigger. The bed was very comfortable, and I think my wife and I slept better in the van than we normally do at home. Despite many cloudy days in the park, the solar panels kept the batteries topped off, and we were able to use and charge our laptops/phones/etc heavily throughout our 10-day trip. We also really enjoyed the hot water shower built into the rear door of the van -- pretty amazing to take a hot shower while outdoors overlooking the ocean! Steve was very helpful before and during the trip with any questions that we had, and walked us through how to use the vehicle before our trip started.

We had a great vacation in the van! We explored all over Washington, staying at many great campsites along the way. Steve’s van was perfect for our trip. It was very comfortable and everything worked great. Steve communicated promptly upon booking and whenever we had questions. He provided a few bits of camp gear to make our trip even better. Would definitely book this van again!

Steve was an excellent host. He started answering questions about our trip as soon as we booked and was readily available the entire time. His van is really well equipped and has a wonderful design. Everything, down the the sharpness of the knives, was down well. Having renting from him made our trip smooth and easy and made us want a van just like his!
