First time using outdoorsy platform. Despite a little trepidation, proved a great decision and infinitely better experience than Cruise America.

Very happy overall with RV during our family trip and the RV definitely enhanced our trip. It's weird to be capped out at 65 mph when some of the speed limits are well over that. But, it makes for a more relaxing trip overall as some of those mountain passes definitely need slower speeds. We felt the RV had ample supplies like chairs, tables and bedding to make it comfortable. Luckily we barely used the generator, make sure you do keep an eye on it if you use it.

This was our first time in an RV. Richard took the time to explain all the details and make sure we were comfortable using the RV. The RV was spacious, clean and had everything you needed. Richard answered any questions we had throughout the trip and was always available. Such a great experience! Highly recommend it!

We just got back from a 7 day trip with our family of 5 (three boys, two adults) and we had a spectacular trip with Richard's RV to several parks in Utah. To start with, Richard was extremely communititive with us prior to our arrival, giving us great tips and answering all our our questions timely and completely. When we arrive, he gave us a thorough explanation of the RV and went over all the details. The RV was in great shape and we had no problems at all with the unit. It drove great and had plenty of room for all of us . All the appliances and features worked great, and Richard even included camping chairs, some extras like smores supplies, etc and he even put nice Easter hand towels as we rented it over Easter break that my wife really appreciated.

Description Accurate, Everything you need is included; Communication with Owner is easy and pleasant. My family of four (two adults, two kids ages 15 and 10) had a great week in Richard's RV. We flew in for a road trip of three National Parks (Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon), so we only were able to bring clothes - none of our own camping gear. I poured over descriptions on Outdoorsy, to ensure that we could rent an RV which included all linens, pots and pans, outdoor chairs, mats, cleaning supplies, etc. I found Richard's to be the most affordable for the size and what was included. We had bath towels and washcloths, kitchen towels, swim/beach towels, bedding for the Queen in the back, bedding for both twin bunks, and even more bedding up front on the cab over bed. My kids ended up switching their sleeping arrangments part-way through the trip, so we used all the bedding. There were outdoor chairs on board in the exterior storage, and even a few pieces of wood. Richard and his wife threw in some s'more fixins, so we had a lovely night around the campfire. There was a coffee maker, toaster, multiple sizes of pots, pans, skillets, baking sheets, mixing bowls, colander, serving dishes, dishes and utensils in both paper and reusable. Dish soap, hand soap, cleaning supplies, broom are all on board, as well as spices, cooking oil, sugar packets, coffee filters. Richard's wife is a long-time RVer, so she has thought of all kinds of needed items to put in the nooks and crannies, such as flashlights, bandaids, lighters, magazines. She knew our itinerary, so she included guide books for the areas we planned to visit. Clearly, a lot of thought went into ensuring we had everything we needed. I simply ordered groceries online from a store that offers pickup and we pulled in and then were on our way in no time. I used the stove, shower, sinks - all worked well with no problems. It was easy to light the burners and the pilot light in the oven. The shower even accommodated my 6'1" husband. There was plenty of storage for our clothes and coats, and we had quite a bit. My husband and I took turns driving and I found it to be easy, although I am used to driving larger vehicles and we were on non-crowded highways. Perhaps it could take some getting used to if you only drive small cars or are on tight, city streets. But I'm sure it would be second nature after just a bit. If it is really windy, that can be unpleasant to hold it steady, but that can't be helped. The hook-ups for electricity and sewer were easy to learn and use. We moved each day of our trip, so we hooked and unhooked multiple times, which took less than 10 minutes each time. There are two lap seatbelts in the couch which sits perpendicular and behind the driver, and three more lap belts in the dining table bench seats. My kids enjoyed reading, using tablets or playing board games at the table during our drives. Richard said the TV would play a DVD while driving, but we never used any of the TVs, so I can't comment on them. We used the generator each day during our drive, to keep the AC running in the back, and also so that the USB ports would be hot. Dumping at the end of our trip was easy. We wanted to be able to use the plumbing until the very end of our road trip, so we found an RV Park in Las Vegas on our way to the drop-off that allowed non-guests to dump for a small fee. We filled the propane at a Uhaul in the neighborhood, and it only took a few minutes. There is a gas station with a tall overhang seconds from the drop-off, so it was easy to turn it in with no extra fees for Richard to have to dump or fill. Richard provides a thorough walk-through and training session at pickup, but be aware that it does take more than an hour to do so, plus sign contracts. In our case, it took two hours to pick up, so plan that into your itinerary. We will always cherish our memories of our road trip in Richard's RV.

Our trip with the "Jambo" as our kids called it, was nothing short of amazing! We travelled for 12 days through southern Utah visiting the "Mighty 5" and a few state parks, and the RV experience (first for us) made the trip twice as enjoyable. Richard was incredibly easy to work with, and ensured the vehicle was in tip top shape - the new recliners were the perfect place to end the evening with a nightcap. We received multiple compliments on the RV at the various RV parks we stayed at - the Jamboree is head and shoulders ahead of the rest of the big rental agencies - so worth it! at 31ft, it was the perfect length - not too small, and not so big that you couldn't use it in the Nat'l Parks - plenty of RV parking! If we ever get the opportunity to rent an RV in the west again, we will definitely contact Richard Bock and try to rent the Jambo!

Richard and his wife could not possibly have been more accommodating. The RV was well supplied Even with things we would never have expected to see. For example they even included toothbrushes. Richard replied promptly to any question and was very thorough in explaining the RV and the paperwork. Great couple to rent from. Our only issue with the RV concerned the bathroom. The shower stall is very small.. I am 5‘8“ and weigh 225. Although I fit there was very little room to move. On the plus side the water was hot and no time did we run low.
The unit would be great For a family as there are four separate sleeping areas.

Our family of 4 had a great 2.5 weeks in this RV. It served as our home while we visited Zion, Bryce, Antelope & the Grand Canyon. Richard was great to work with and went above and beyond to be sure that we had everything that we needed before we set off on our adventure.
The RV was clean, had plenty of room and ran great. We will not hesitate to rent from Richard again if we are traveling out of Las Vegas.

We had a great experience with Richard's RV. It was equipped with everything we need to just jump in the RV, get some food, and head out. We had 6 of us and all slept comfortably. Working with Richard on this trip was a pleasure and he is a man of his word with no surprise charges when we returned the RV. I recommend this RV and Richard to anyone who wants to explore this great part of the country.
