About Amber 's RV rentals

Aloha! My name is Amber and I was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii. I have worked in the hospitality industry for years, and am now taking it to the next level by offering my personal Campervan for rent here on Outdoorsy. There is no better way to enjoy the island than this van. My partner and I purchased this van, designed its interior and have now decided to share the experience with others. We yearned to adventure and experience Hawaii more, but always felt disappointed in the hotel & vacation rental experience. We designed this van with comfort and adventure in mind. Please enjoy :)

My partner and I decided to see the big island by van camping around the island. We're so, so glad Amber is renting out the Van Damme. We had an incredible experience. The van was clean and well organized. We had a lot of stuff we brought and never felt cramped for space. We could also stand in the car, which was amazing for changing in and out of clothes (which you may do a lot since hikes and beach trips abound). We also did the cooking package that Amber includes, which was PERFECT for our meal prep as we cruised along.

Amber is an exceptional Van host - was very communicative and flexible with pick ups & drop offs. The van was 10/10 - she’s taken very good care of and it had everything I needed - space for my surfboard and sleeping quarters to stand up in.

We had a great experience driving all over the island. Days were smooth and nights were comfy - lots of space to move around. Recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a unique experience on the Big Island!

Had an amazing Island roadtrip!! We did the entire circle from Hilo around the island in four days and the van was great! Plenty of space for two with plenty of storage space, (could even fit three comfortably with a camping mattress on the floor if needed). Amber has everything you need for sleeping as well as cooking with a cooktop and propane. It was a great deal for us and worked out great, as well as super easy to pick up and drop off right next to the airport, Amber kindly gave us a ride to the airport. Seemed to get great gas mileage too! The island is so small that you really don't need anymore that 100 miles a day. I recommend South Point for cliff jumping / camping!
