About Isla's RV rentals

Caveman Campers is a fully equipped campervan rental business. There is a special meaning behind the company name as Tony's grandpa used to have a business with the same name. Both of us are big into camping and have done so since we were young ones roughing it in a tent. Once we upgraded from the tents to a campervan, we decided we wanted to share the same experiences with others. Caveman Campers is here to provide you with a camping experience you'll never forget!

Betty is such a joy to drive, and sleep in!
She drives really well and is good with distance. We had a small issue with indicators toward the end of the trip but this should be sorted. She has a Bluetooth system so you can play music. Sink works well but it's a bit of a faff to replace water. Bed very comfy if you're less than 5 ft 7", otherwise a little tight. Seats very comfy for long drives and she has great suspension for bumpier roads! All in all we absolutely loved staying in her for the week around Vancouver Island. Thank you Isla for being so helpful too!

We had a wonderful time with "Betty" and Isla is equally great. We rode our bikes on the galloping goose to pick her up and off we went driving 4 hours north. She was clean as a whistle and well stocked with all of our needs. She is in excellent condition for her age but understand windows were down for air and you need to relax into her quirks. I would rent this baby again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I had such a wonderful time driving Betty around the island! I highly recommend! Isla and Tony are so kind and helpful, they were wonderful to rent from. The camper van was cozy, had everything you need for camping, and was great to drive!

Betty is a pleasure to drive, the van is well equipped and perfect for a long trip either in the island or in the mountains. Isla has been the most helpful and I couldn’t recommend to rent with her more!

Betty was a perfect way to get around Vancouver Island. Not only is she pretty, but she also drives very well and is very comfortable. The camper comes with everything you need. Isla and Tony were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

Tony, Isla (and her dad) were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our trip. We made our way to Tofino and back which was amazing. Many people approaching us to ask about pretty Betty. Big thank you for making this trip happen!

We had the best time exploring Vancouver Island in Betty! She was so comfortable and reliable and got us safely from Victoria to Tofino and back again. Betty was equipped with everything we could have possibly needed, including cooking gear, utensils, cleaning products, cooler, awning, the best bedding ever and towels. Isla was so great to communicate with and was super organised. Would 100% recommend booking Betty for your next adventure!

We had an amazing time with Betty. We drove with her all the way up to Tofino. The ride went smoothly as we drove through the winding roads that lead to Ucluelet and Tofino. Take your time when going uphill with Betty.
In addition, we really enjoyed sleeping in the cozy bed. The car had all the amenities one could wish for when camping.
