About Rick & Linda Smith

My wife and I enjoyed tent camping with our five kids on the shores of Lake Michigan when they were young, it was always the highlight of our summer. We graduated to a pop-up, then five years ago we renovated a 1969 Holiday Rambler, we loved it so we have done 2 more vintage Holiday Ramblers, Madelin and Ella. We are planning to add to our fleet in the future. We want to make it easy for other couples to enjoy camping in northern Michigan without the hassle of towing and setting up a trailer. We enjoy hiking, kayaking, biking and the Traverse City area is truly a paradise for you to enjoy. Rick & Linda Smith

We rented Ella for my 87 year old mom for our annual 2 week camping trip to Young State Park. Ella was just right for her. Everything she needed was included. Several people stopped and took pictures of a old classic….Ella, not my mom🤭 Rick and Linda are very friendly and proud of their classic trailer.

Far beyond my expectations. Rick and Linda are SUPER hosts, and their hospitality and attention to detail setting up the camper made our experience a 5 star experience. Rick and Linda Smith were friendly, helpful, responsive. They set the rv up for me and gave me a tour. I stayed at Timberridge Resort the entire time. ‘Madelin’ is cozy, completely furnished, clean, and had some homey little extra touches that make you feel like a guest. The awning and chairs and table were wonderful refuge from the. Rain.
