We are avid campervan travelers and have always enjoyed staying in them while visiting our National Parks. Overall, we made things work with this van and had a good time but in hindsight, we would’ve been more thorough. For a van that’s only a couple of years old, it has a lot of wear and tear on it already. Things have not been replaced/ cleaned as they should. Below are the issues we realized after the initial meet and walk-thru.1. We had problems on the first night/second day with the solar battery. It charges during the day but shows very low reserve by nightfall. We are always very conservative with power/water use.
2. There’s no seal at the bottom of the shower door so water spills out everywhere when showering. Owner said it doesn’t come with anything to prevent this, however there are fasteners in the top corners of the shower for a shower liner. This is an easy solution that can be prevented; otherwise you’re just ruining the base of the van flooring.
3. The kitchen is NOT fully stocked as advertised. There was no pan, no cups, no bowls. Only a spatula for cooking. We had to go out and purchase some things. Some kitchen materials under the sink were dirty.
4. The left windshield wiper’s rubber was stripped and needs to be replaced.
5. The zippers on both bug screens are broken.
6. The van’s alignment needs to be adjusted. The steering wheel shakes badly starting around 60mph.
7. I wish I videoed the initial van walk-thru; the control panels for the battery, water, and heat controls can be confusing and not easy to troubleshoot.We were initially just really excited during the walk-thru and didn’t realize these things until we were on the road. This is only my second Outdoorsy experience; my first one was stellar, so I just assumed. This owner did not go through any paperwork with us beforehand as is required by Outdoorsy (again, an oversight on our part). Might go through a vetted company next time instead of private rentals… :/

The host, Charles, was very nice. Allowed me to move pick up time after I booked. Walked me through the rig. He did a great job explaining all the details. Communication is slow. I would definitely rent this unit again. I would confirm new front tires, wiper blades that work and a really good cleaning before I rent again.

Rental was awesome. Had everything you need, easy to drive, very comfortable. The front driver side tire is a bit bald, should be replaced. Host was great, I hit some major traffic on the way back so flexible drop off was much appreciated! Would highly recommend this rental. I will definitely rent again, SOON! Txs Ken!

Our trip was wonderful but it would have been good to have a few more things in the van without having to buy them ourselves - like towels, tea towels, frying pan, cups, bowls, plus enough cutlery and plates for four people. It would have been good if the toilet worked from the start too, although we fixed that so it should be fine for the next people.

Great campervan, super smart setup. And the right size to fit into car parks, not just RV parks, and inner towns. Korey was great at explaining and helping out. Finding a camp is not always easy and the usual apps are not very good. We took our chance without reservations most days and always found a place. Preparation and planning is advisable. Fabulous holiday and experience anyway! California is amazing, especially if you go off the tourist tracks.

This van was the perfect vehicle for my trip to Joshua Tree National Park with my mom and sister. It's outfitted with with everything you need for a great car camping trip. KC was easy to get in touch with for coordinating the pick up and drop off and made himself available for any questions I had. Would highly recommend this van :)
