First off, Ulysses (the host) was very responsive to the issues we faced. The person who was there to give us the trailer was not Ulysses as he was out of town. That person forgot to give us the 30A to 20A converter cable. I was lucky to have brought my own else it would've been really bad. The battery cables were VERY loose so the battery was dead and did not charge when towed. I had to spend many hours troubleshooting the trailer electronics as none of the AC outlets worked. I did figure out the loose battery cables, tightened them and then found the battery bypass switch (which was off) and turned that on so the trailer battery could now charge from my honda generator. But as the only 20A outlet was used by the trailer, I had to run my 2nd honda gen to give us electrical outlets for the coffee maker and other charging cables. Ulysses offered to send out a tech but I was at a private event with a controlled gate and if had moved the trailer I would've lost my spot. If I had to wait around for a tech to show up, I would not have been able to enjoy myself. Other than that, the trailer was great although the main trailer door is a SOB lol. It works as designed but you sort of had to slam it to get it to latch every time. It caused me a great deal of stress as our last night temp was in the teens so without power to run the propane fan, we risked freezing to death. I had to ration gas. I pretty much lost a day of my 3 day vacation dealing with the trailer and missed out on time with my friends. Ulysses agreed to either give me some money back (we are not sure how this is done via Outdoorsy) or 1/2 off my next rental. If the AC outlet issue is fixed, I would feel comfortable renting this trailer but definitely check the battery and AC outlets prior to taking it. The solar outlet worked great and kept our cell phones charged.

When I returned the RV to Ulysses, he asked for feedback on how he can improve trips in the future, and I could not think of one thing. Everything was provided, clean, enjoyable, and Ulysses made it easy.

We had a great experience renting the travel trailer from Ulysses. The trailer was new and the perfect size for us. Ulysses was prompt in replying to any questions we had. He delivered and picked up the travel trailer at the exact times we requested.

Renting this camper was easy and perfect. I asked so many questions before deciding on this rental. All of my questions were answered quickly and kindly. Ulysses was punctual on both drop of and pick up. He was also always easy to reach. The camper is very nice and super clean. I would recommend this rental to anyone wanting an easy rental process and a clean camper. We will be renting from Ulysses again in the future.
