Ahren was great to communicate with. He was flexible, and informative. The Eagles Nest was clean and well stocked. My kids and I had a great time camping in the Eagle's nest and would definitely rent from Ahren again.
We took this van out for a quick weekend trip and it was a great time! Having your bed and kitchen at remote trailheads is a wonderful feeling. Ahren is a great host, clearly explaining how the different systems work and making us feel welcome in this tiny house on wheels. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who wants to have a trip in a little cabin on wheels!
Great trip to the North Cascades! Ahren was pretty lax on his rules, was able to keep it well past the standard 11am drop off time on our last day. You get an extra 100 miles than what outdoorsy says, which we didn't come close to using, but it is always great to rent from someone who isn't a total stickler. It was easy to drive, has a backup camera, great gas mileage for a larger vehicle ($45 for…
Ahren was very communicative and flexible. My wife and I enjoyed the experience tremendously!
We had the most wonderful weekend getaway and we LOVED the van! Ahren was super friendly and pretty quick to respond to my messages. He build the campervan himself, so while there were some quirks, it was super cool! The beds were very comfortable and it was the perfect size for 2 adults, 1 kid (although two smaller kiddos could probably share the second bed), and our dog. My kid is pretty sensiti…
Took the nest on a solo camping excursion and had a great time!! Was easier to drive than I imagined and the bed was even comfortable!
I loved this experience! The van was super cozy and functional. I was a little nervous about the length but it was very easy to drive and the reverse camera was so helpful. The cedar interior made it feel homey, the bed was so comfortable and the heater kept us warm when needed on those chilly nights. The diesel was so economical, we covered a lot of ground and did some really fun exploring from t…
Much like what the previous reviewers comments, the vehicle is quirky, comfortable for two but dealing with Ahren is awkward. He knowingly rented it to us to take to Burningman. We had the long process of checking out, the apps to download, the test drive, manual to review and papers to sign as well as the list of issues to be aware of like the sliding door needs to be released from the outside i…
Long story short it seems this is a smear campaign, possibly because they did not like their deposit being taken. On the way home Brooke sent me a text saying "Message by (XXX) XXX-2185: Everything is great. Not a single issue. Having the best time ever. 😎" She also told me 2 days ago while debating the detailing she would rent from me again....... what a 180 : (
If you're curious about the pre…
My wife and I had a blast in this comfy home away from home. We took it up to sunrise visitor Center for our elopement wedding and then all the way up to Sequim for some amazing hikes.
Full sink with running water and more power and USB type a and C options than you will ever need. The battery never got below 50% and charged in a jiffy with the solar panels on top.
Needless to say my new wife and I were impressed and now are pining for our very own camper van.
Ahren was so friendly and easy to work with. If you’re even thinking about it stop thinking and just do it.
Having planned a trip to the Gorge once again, we decided to look for RVs and camper vans as we have in the past. Having a smaller group than our previous visits, we decided to go for a van over a class B or Class C recreational home. I found outdoorsy and using the dates and size in mind I found this van. After some to and from the van was booked for use in July. We were to fly out the night befo…
