About Salma and Alex Dermody
Our names are Salma and Alex! We have a 2019 Ford Transit low roof that we lived in for 3 months before moving to Oahu, Hawaii. We have a Golden Doodle named Marley that has been almost everywhere with us around the country! We love to hike and spend time at the beach whenever we can.

Alex was amazing! We were on the bus to the north shore and he was able to meet us a couple minutes from the stop. Van had a huge bed with plenty of room for 2 adults and the van easily got us where we needed to go on the island. Alex even let us borrow two of his surf boards to catch some waves near sunset. He went above and beyond what was expected and made our trip a memorable one. 11/10

Absolutely awesome experience, Salma and Alex were super friendly! Great communication and an amazing camper van! So much fun, thank you for a great experience! Definitely renting Lilo again next time I’m in HI.

I had the most relaxing time cruising around Oahu in the van! Salma and Alex were excellent hosts and so easy to communicate with, which was extra appreciated given the last-minute nature of my booking. The van was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything needed for a relaxing beach vacation. Highly recommend the Lilo and the Malaekehana Campground for stress-free van camping spots.

Salma an alex were really kind to us. We decided for the delivery option and i recommend doing that. We liked the van, the bed was really confy.

We had a great time driving around the island in the van! We had some trouble with the electric, and Alex and Selma offered to come meet us at our camp site to fix it. We also managed to leave a laptop in the van, and they worked with us to get it back to us before we left town. Great experience!

This was an amazing trip! The van was easy to drive - easy to sleep in and use - and we loved roaming the island independently. Salma made pick up and drop off so easy. You could feel that the van was made with love. Recommendations for where we should sleep, eat and hike were so appreciated. I would highly recommend renting Lilo, and we are hoping to be back soon.
