Memories made on trips with Josh Peterson's RVs

This was the worst experience I have ever had renting an RV. When I received the unit it was filthy and not vacuumed or cleaned. The owner cleaned the mirrors and sink when asked but he didn’t have a vacuum. He said he cleaned it but after he left I had to wipe stains off the walls, and I had to clean and sanitize the light fixtures, counters and bathroom. The drawers and cupboard were a mess. I brought my own bedding and towels and I was told the trailer was equipped with everything else. There were no tea towels. I couldn’t find plates and texted the owner asking where they were but he didn’t reply. There were no bowls for cereal in the morning. There was old food and vodka bottle in the cupboard with the cups. Everything was so dirty I used my own cups. The owner told me there was an issue with the electrical system. Lights worked ok but the hot water didn’t. I had to drive home to shower and grab plates/bowls- lucky I live within 1/2 hour. The pics in the add do not accurately represent the condition of the trailer. It’s in rough shape and to was so dirty. The condition was unacceptable, especially during Covid. I thought the owner would be reasonable and I only asked for 1/2 the cleaning fee back when he arrived to pick up the trailer but he would not agree to that. I enclose a few pics do your reference.

Josh is very easy to do business with. Communication is fast, friendly, and he was very accommodating. The RV trailer is nice, mechanically sound, and has all the needed equipment to hitch up. I towed it with my 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac pick up and it was easy to tow.
My wife and I used it for 10 days while visiting various relatives and found it to be a nice unit to stay in. As I suggested to Josh, it would have been helpful to have some more items stocked in the trailer like wheel chocks, pads for the stabilizers and also it did not have much kitchen items like pots and pans, dishes, etc. We did not use it for ‘camping’ per se so it could be if you are cooking on the campfire and bbq you would not need these things, but we missed them.
But all-in-all it was a good experience (our first RV rental) and as long as you communicate about what is or isn’t included you should enjoy your time in this unit.
