I never thought I would actually own a travel trailer, but as you can see I have one. After having a family I realize camping with a trailer is a lot easier and more fun for everyone! Also, before kids we use to camp in the shoulder months (May and October), however, we found that with children tent camp in the rain and cold is not a lot of fun. Now with our Minnie Winnie we found ourselves in Glacier at the end of October! We have two children and two dogs (lab and golden). Our dogs are rarely in our trailer, we have to put the golden in their in situation where his anxiety gets the best of him (fireworks and/or thunder). Otherwise our dogs sleep in our truck or are outside with us. Our children use the bunks in the back and love our trailer! They are 5 and 8. We rarely cook inside our trailer, we typically grill outside! We love camping near a lake where we can use our sit on top kayaks, swim, and boat! A bonus if there are hiking or biking trails near by!
