My van camping journey started early with my mom's first VW bus, later she sold that one and... got another VW bus! We spent most of our family time out road tripping and camping around the west. When I went to college in San Diego I built out a minivan and was instantly hooked on the flexibility and fun it provided as an adult. Fast forward eight years and I am still van camping nearly every weekend while running Venturhaus, a full service custom van builder and installation center. Located in Evergreen, Colorado we have grown to be a premier yet community oriented builder in the area. Trip was great! The owner made sure to show us all of the functions of the van on a tour and a brief overview of how everything worked, we slept 3 comfortably during a weekend trip out to Steamboat, then Winter Park. It was great to be able to use the 4x4 to sleep right outside of strawberry hot springs and the day after right outside the lifts to beat the lines at winter park! The Induction stove works great and the kettle boils water for tea fast! Nice to be able to set a temp for the heater at night with the thermostat, and water pressure is good. This Van is truly a capable beast and a comfy home base to beat the crowds in!
